Research On The Path Of Integrating Into The "Belt And Road" Strategy For Nanchong

The international order in the world is changing today and economic development is unstable.The world is facing a series of global problems,such as insufficient growth momentum,unbalanced development between North and South,the phenomenon of“reverse globalization”and the lagging governance system.Domestic economic development is in a period of slowness and weakness.In recent years,the western region of China has developed rapidly and achieved favorable results.However,the western region still lags behind the eastern in economic level.The potential development of society in the western region has not been fully stimulated and it has led to a wide gap between the East and the West.At the same time,the eastern region has a problem of industrial overcapacity and its economic development has entered a bottleneck period,which restricts China's further improvement in the level of opening up and high-quality development of the economy.The“ Belt and Road” is in line with the theme of the time of peace and development.It not only realizes the new pattern of China's opening up to the outside world,but also conforms to the development trend of the new globalization,which is of great significance for promoting the economic and trade cooperation with the countries along the line,improving the opening degree of the country and driving the global economic growth.Taking Nanchong as an example,this paper studies how a typical inland city integrates into the national strategy of the “Belt and Road”.Under the premise of fully understanding the background,connotation and significance of the“ Belt and Road”,Through the application of regional economic integration theory,regional division of labor and cooperation theory,regional coordinated development theory and mutual dependence theory,this paper analyzes the advantages and opportunities of Nanchong under the “One Belt,One Road” strategy comprehensively,and evaluates the challenges and deficiencies of Nanchong objectively.Follow the principles of adapting to local conditions,giving play to advantages,fostering strengths and avoiding weaknesses and avoiding disadvantages,and finally put forward some policy recommendations for the future development of Nanchong,explore the path of integration into the“ Belt andRoad”for Nanchong.The article holds that Nanchong is restricted by such factors as the level of industrial structure,economic level and distance from the central city,which leads to underdeveloped economy and weak comprehensive strength.To a certain extent,it has affected the process of Nanchong integration into the“ Belt and Road”.In order to make better use of the opportunities brought by the“ Belt and Road”,Nanchong should enhance the level of industrial development,strengthen regional cooperation,expand humanities exchanges,accelerate infrastructure construction,strengthen the radiation of Nanchong,establish Nanchong into a regional economic highland in northeastern Sichuan.In the end,Nanchong will be connected to the countries along the line,“going out”and“bringing in”successfully.
