It is an important carrier for economic and trade cooperation between China and ASEAN,and an important factor affecting the effectiveness of cooperation.Based on the relevant theories of maritime interconnection, and then theoretically analyzes the economic effects of China-ASEAN maritime interconnection, finally uses the GTAP model to quantitatively assess the sea.Interconnections on the GDP,welfare levels, terms of trade, import and export, and the impact of various industries, and put forward policy recommendations to promote maritime interconnection and mutual assistance for economic and trade cooperation and development.(1)Analysis the present situation and problems of China-ASEAN maritime interconnection, starts from three perspectives, one is the port and shipping infrastructure;the other is the construction of the maritime cooperation mechanism;the third is the marine technology and humanities exchange. The existing problems are from political mutual trust and security cooperation, intervention by major powers, insufficient infrastructure construction of ports and ships, differences in systems and standards, and financial and technical support.(2)Theoretically analyze the economic effects of China-ASEAN maritime interconnection. It mainly investigates the direct economic effects of maritime interconnection on transportation costs and logistics efficiency, marine economy and energy development. And the indirect economic effects of maritime connectivity on dual multilateral trade and investment, tourism, cultural and ecological cooperation, economic growth and welfare enhancement.(3)Quantitative assessment of the economic effects of China-ASEAN maritime interconnection.Firstly,I design a simulation analysis plan for China-ASEAN maritime interconnection, and then use the GTAP model to macroeconomic effects of China-ASEAN maritime interconnection(GDP,welfare level, terms of trade, import and export)and industrial economic effects(output of various industries, import, export)quantitative assessment. The results show that: from a general point of view,China-ASEAN maritime interconnection, such as the upgrading of port and shipping facilities, the increase of routes and other “hard Unicom”,bring about lower transportation costs, port customs clearance, customs standards, procedural rules and other “soft Unicom” with trade facilitation, both can enhance the GDP,social welfare level and import and export levels of both sides, and improve the terms of trade between the two sides, and the positive stimulus effect brought by “soft Unicom” is far greater than the “hard Unicom” belt. Therefore,in the process of promoting China-ASEAN maritime interconnection and construction,we should adopt a two-pronged approach, accelerate the construction of regulations, reduce technical barriers to trade, further open up the market to each other, and build institutional guarantees for the smooth advancement of bilateral economic and trade cooperation. From an industrial perspective,China and ASEAN countries will develop in the direction of their respective comparative advantages.China's textile industry, light industry and public utilities and construction industry output are both increased, and the output of mineral resources has decreased substantially. In general,ASEAN countries have seen an increase in livestock and meat products, textiles, heavy industry and public utilities and construction industries, while light industry output has fallen sharply. In the future, the two sides should enhance strategic mutual trust, cohesion and cooperation, jointly formulate plans for maritime interconnection and construction, deepen customs port management, and strengthen trade facilitation capacity to enhance the level and level of China-ASEAN maritime interconnection and bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
