Cutting tool is an important resource of gas turbine manufacturing,which directly affects the quality and cost of the machining process.Variety of tools,a huge number,and with the development of new products,the variety and amount of cutting tool is increasing,the cost of cutting tools in the enterprise cost accounting is also increasing.On the other hand,due to a lack of tool of unified,coordinated management,tool inventory is high,and the use efficiency is low,that tools become a processing capacity bottleneck,limiting the gas turbine manufacturing enterprise's core competitiveness.Therefore,it is an urgent need to implement the full life cycle management system for the application of the combustion engine workshop.First of all,this paper expounds the concept and expression forms of tool life cycle management and analyzes the classification system of machine tool workshop,burning tool key attributes of class,in class and small class,materials,the handle and the tool parameters based on constructed tool coding system,and describe the calculation method of tool life.The implementation laid the foundation for the application of full life cycle management system.Secondly,the composition and operation environment of the tool management system are analyzed,and the main processes of the two dimensional code printing,production and processing,tool collar,tool distribution and repair and the main data table supporting the operation of the tool management system are designed.Finally,the tool management system is implemented in the gas turbine workshop,including tool classification and property maintenance,code management,serial number management,warehouse management,material movement,tool list management and plant management main function modules.In the end,according to the four stages of the whole life cycle management of the cutter,the process of the whole life cycle management of the wheel slot milling cutter is introduced.The application of tool management system in gas turbine workshop has been a significant effect.An average annual NCR(machining quality abnormal report)happened in the lathe and vertical lathe reduced from 10 to 3 times.The number of the blade reduced from 100 thousand to 80 thousand and the average annual purchasing volume of the shop tool is reduced by about 10%.The implementation of the tool management system standardized the tool management of the gas turbine workshop,improved the quality of the product processing,and significantly reduced the cost of the tool.
