In the face of the economic development trend of globalization and the era background of the great development of the Internet economy,the competition between enterprises is white-hot,and the dynamic organizational environment requires leaders and employees to jointly promote the development of organizations.However,in the face of a complex external environment,leaders do not have enough energy and ability to understand all the knowledge and information related to the organization.It is necessary to give full play to the initiative of employees and actively contribute to the development of the organization.Therefore,the concept of humble leadership,which is characterized by “bottom-up“,has gradually become a hot topic in leadership theory since it was proposed.Although the domestic research on humble leadership has been relatively mature,there is still a lack of research on the voice behavior of employees under humble leadership from the perspective of self-determination theory.By combing and summarizing the existing literature,this study mainly explores the relationship between humble leadership,chronic regulatory focus and employee's voice behavior,and proposes a conceptual model to explain the interaction mechanism of the three.In this study,350 valid sample data were collected from four enterprises belonging to different industries in xinjiang by field questionnaire survey.This study takes humble leadership as independent variable,chronic regulatory focus as mediating variable and employee voice behavior as dependent variable.By using SPSS and AMOS software to test the reliability and validity of data,verifying factor analysis,descriptive statistics,correlation analysis and regression analysis,it empirically examines the influence of humble leadership on employee voice behavior and the mediating role of chronic regulatory focus.The results show that:(1)Humble leadership has a significant positive predictive effect on employee promotive voice behavior;(2)Humble leadership has a significant positive predictive effect on employee prohibitive voice behavior;(3)The promotion regulatory focus plays a full mediating role in the positive predictive relationship between humble leadership and employee promotive voice behavior;(4)The promotion regulatory focus plays a full mediating role in the positive predictive relationship between humble leadership and employee prohibitive voice behavior;(5)The prevention regulatory focus plays a full mediating role in the positive predictive relationship between humble leadership and employee prohibitive voice behavior.Through the discussion of the research conclusions in this paper,it is hoped to provide a new theoretical perspective for the research on the relationship between leadership style and employee behavior in organizations,and provide theoretical guidance for enterprise managers to stimulate differentiated voice behavior of employees with different regulatory focus in management practice.
