Study On The Improvement Of Agricultural Science And Technology Extension System Based On Farmers' Demand

Agricultural science and technology extension service has become a necessary link in the transformation of agricultural science and technology achievements,and the qu ality of extension is attracting wide attention from all walks of life.In order to under stand the current situation of agricultural science and technology extension in Liaoyang City,and to find out the problems and the causes of the problems fundamentally,thi s paper uses field interviews and questionnaires to conduct a detailed study on the rel ationship between supply and demand.Finally,in order to promote the better develop ment of agricultural science and technology extension in Liaoyang City,some improve ment strategies and suggestions were put forward.In the first part of this paper,firstly,it shows the current research background an d significance of extension services,and the relevant research results at home and abr oad,and determines the research framework and ideas of this paper.Then,by means of field investigation and data consulting,the current situation and extension mode of agricultural science and technology extension institutions in Liaoyang City were unders tood,and the specific methods of agricultural science and technology extension in Lia oyang City were analyzed.Then,through field research,in-depth interviews and questi onnaires,the supply-demand relationship data of agricultural science and technology ex tension services in Liaoyang City were obtained,and the evaluation data of farmers o n the current work of agricultural science and technology extension in Liaoyang City were combed and analyzed to find the existing problems,and to sort out these proble ms and find the potential influencing factors.Finally,the corresponding improvement s trategies and measures are put forward from four aspects: optimizing the dominant pos ition of the government in the agricultural science and technology extension system,in creasing the government's investment in the agricultural science and technology extensi on,promoting the reform of the agricultural science and technology extension system and creating a good environment for farmers to learn agricultural technology.The main models of agricultural science and Technology Extension Service in Lia oyang City are divided into three types:(1)Enterprise-led agricultural science and technology extension model,(2)Farmer's own experience-led agricultural science and tech nology extension model and(3)Government-led agricultural science and technology ex tension model.(2)The problems existing in agricultural science and technology extensi on work in Liaoyang City are as follows: insufficient grasp of the relationship betwee n supply and demand,lack of promotion of what one wants,lack of promotion of wh at one wants,disconnection between the supply of scientific and technological product s and actual demand,and still a supply-oriented service mode of agricultural science a nd technology extension;serious shortage of service funds invested by the government and all sectors of society,and breakage of financing and investment chain;The grass-roots personnel of Industrial Science and technology promotion lack professional kno wledge and awareness of serving more farmers;the concept and method of promotion lag behind seriously and have not been promoted with the change of national policy.(3)At the macro level,the most influential factors for the development of agricultura l science and technology extension in Liaoyang City are the lack of government supp ort and the insufficient attention paid by grassroots workers to the work of agricultura l science and technology extension;at the micro level,the most influential factors for the development of agricultural science and technology extension in Liaoyang City ar e mainly the farmers' inadequate understanding of agricultural production.The economic benefits brought about are not high or active.(4)In view of the existing problems,t his paper finally puts forward several improvement strategies: first,optimize the leadin g role of the government in the agricultural science and technology extension system;second,continue to increase the government's investment in agricultural science and te chnology extension;third,reform the system and system in agricultural science and te chnology extension;fourth,create a good environment for farmers to learn agricultural technology.
