Study On The Influence Of Japan's Technical Barriers To Trade On China's Poultry Export

China's poultry industry and poultry export industry has always been one of the traditional dominant industries in China,and China is also one of the major poultry export countries in the world.However,since China joined the WTO,with the rise of non-tariff trade barriers and trade protectionism,the export volume of poultry products in China has decreased day by day.Technical barriers to trade(TBT),as the main non-tariff barriers affecting the export of poultry meat in China,have become the main obstacle to the export of poultry meat in China because of its concealment and diversity.As a top four poultry product export market in China in recent years,Japan,using its scientific and technological advantages as well as the strict quarantine system to implement the technical trade barriers,has greatly restricted the export of poultry meat in China,which makes the export of Chinese poultry meat drop in the fluctuation;Therefore,the study of the export of Japan's technical trade barriers to Chinese poultry products will be beneficial to the promotion of the export of Chinese poultry and poultry products and the competitiveness of the poultry meat products on the day.The first part of this paper is to sum up the research results of other scholars as well as the background of this paper.At the same time,the concept of the technical barriers to trade is defined,the contents of the technical barriers to trade are set forth,and the theoretical basis is laid for the following writing.The second part is to analyze the present situation of China's poultry and poultry products and the technical barriers to trade,including the current situation of China's poultry exports over the past years,the number and variety of Chinese poultry products,The proportion of Chinese poultry products in the Japanese market and so on.The third part is mainly the empirical part of this paper.In this part,we use the gravity model to take the amount of poultry trade from China to Japan as the explained variable,and take the exchange rate between China and Japan,and the GDP,between China and Japan.The number of detentions of Chinese poultry products by Japan's Ministry of Health,Health and Labor is used as an explanatory variable to analyze the impact of technical barriers to trade on the export of poultry productsfrom China.The fourth part mainly refers to the classic cases of TBT,and puts forward some suggestions for TBT from the aspects of government,trade association,enterprise and so on.
