Study On The Governance Of Food Safety Issues In Rural China

For the sake of a large agricultural country like China,food safety is related to the physical and mental health,economic development and harmonious development of the whole society.However,at present,China’s rural areas have become a gathering place for problem foods.The food safety accidents are frequent,and the food safety situation in rural areas is worrying.Due to the long-term development pattern of urban-rural dual structure in China,the food industry in rural areas is weak,and food business is scattered and concentrated.The degree is low,there are many problems such as the difficulty of supervision and the limited supervision power.Taking Linyi as an example,this paper analyzes the problems existing in rural food safety and the current situation of governance,analyzes the causes of rural food safety problems in China from the perspective of participating in food safety governance,and then proposes targeted measures to develop food safety in rural areas.The governance of the problem opens up new horizons and proposes new ideas.This paper first clarifies the research background,significance,research status and research methods at home and abroad.Then define the relevant concepts and sort out the relevant theories.Then through the investigation of rural food safety in Linyi City,it is found that the food safety problem in rural China is more serious,and then based on the public governance theory,analyze the deep-rooted causes of rural food safety problems.Finally,based on the experience and enlightenment of solving food safety problems abroad,the countermeasures for solving food safety problems are proposed.The problem of rural food safety relies solely on the conscious of food operators and the supervision of the government.Therefore,it is necessary to mobilize all aspects of society.While affirming the government’s regulatory authorities as the leading force in the governance of rural food safety issues,it also emphasizes the importance of third-party forces such as food production and business units,consumers,industry associations,and the media in the governance process,through mutual care,support,and participation.Food safety work forms a pattern of food safety and social co-governance.
