As the form of organizational routine at the industry level,industrial routine often reflects the evolution path and development trend of an industry.Industry routines,that is,in order to integrate internal and external resources,multiple enterprises in the industry used the exploration of communication,repeated interaction process,and gradually formed a generally recognized and relatively stable code of conduct and normative consensus.Influenced by the policy named Internet +,enterprises in traditional industries are faced with the huge impact of mode reconstruction and structural change,and all walks of life have to take the train of Internet development to change the operation mode of traditional industries and carry out the transformation of modern industries.Under the rapidly changing external environment,the evolution of organizational routine becomes an important means for enterprises to stand on the ground in the new environment.The forerunners in the industry,namely the leading enterprises,tend to explore a new business model in advance and then lead other enterprises in the industry to change.Under the influence of external policy factors,leading enterprise transformation and other factors,the industry routine will also undergo pattern reconstruction.Behind this transformation,it means the fundamental change of leading enterprise organization routines,following enterprise organization routines and even the whole industry routine.This study focuses on the evolution process of industry routines driven by the evolution of industry-leading enterprise routines,selects the agricultural Internet of Things industry with obvious industrial transformation after the impact of the Internet,focusing on its transformation from traditional agricultural technology industry to modern agricultural Internet of Things industry.This study chooses the perspective of organizational learning,and analyzes the evolution of routines by focusing on the types of trial-and-error learning and imitation learning.This study adopts the method of case study,chooses Top yunnong,the dominant player in the industry,as well as J group and K group,being the followed ones,and collects the data of the three enterprises by interviewing the core personnel the three enterprises and communicating with them.After sorting out and improving the collected data,this study analyzes the transformation process of the three enterprises,and explores the evolution process of their organizational routines,clarifies the important role of different types of organizational learning in the transformation process of different enterprises,and then describes the evolution model of organizational routines.On the basis of the evolution process of organizational routines of leading enterprises and following enterprises,this study focuses on the diffusion in the industries of new routines across organizational boundaries.Thus,the evolution mechanism of industry routines driven by leading enterprises can be figured out,and the evolution process model of industry routines can be constructed.The study finds: firstly,the evolution of industrial routines went through three phases: the organizational routines evolution of the leading enterprise,the organizational routines evolution of industry following enterprise,and the evolution of industrial routines,which are successive;secondly,organizational learning is an important factor to promote the evolution of organizational routines,providing the source power for the evolution of organizational routines,and the process of organizational learning is the mapping of the evolution of organizational routines;thirdly,the evolution of organizational routines of leading enterprises mainly depends on the process of trial and error learning,however,that of following enterprises mainly depends on the process of imitation and learning,and different learning styles determine different positions of enterprises in the industry;fourthly,in the process of organizational learning to promote the evolution of routines,good communication among employees is the catalyst to promote and ensure the effective implementation of this process.
