Because of the structure and mechanism,China state-owned enterprises formed a certain organizational routines in the long-term development.At present,in the overall context of deepening reform,for the state-owned enterprises which are in the stage of economic transformation and mechanism upgrading,how to realize the organization routines marketization to make it match with the business environment is particularly important.Previous scholars point to organizational routines are mostly concentrated on the external factors,such as the introduction of new technology,policy adjustment,etc.Even if the study discusses from the internal factors,but also chooses managers' behavior.The real source of organizational routines updating is managers' perception.Cognitive style decides the behavior of individuals.To discuss the essence of organizational routines updating,we must start from the individual cognitive style.The organizational routines updating is a process of organizational learning,so this study chooses the perspective of individual and organization to discuss how the cognitive style and organization learning affect the organizational routines updating and the regulating action of the organization structure.On the one hand,this study refines and riches the cognitive style theory and organizational routines updating theory.On the other hand,it plays a guiding role to the management practice.Based on previous literature,this study make a definition and dimensions of managers' cognitive style and organizational routines updating.This paper divide managers' cognitive style into learning cognitive style,planned cognitive style and creative cognitive style.And this paper defines the organizational routines updating as the collection of form level(knowledge and norms)and behavior level(behavior patterns).This study constructs a model among cognitive style,organizational learning,and organizational routines updating.Then it tests the hypothesis model through empirical research methods.In this paper,the measurement scale is checked and revised by the pretest.Then it takes 300 managers of 85 state-owned enterprises as the object to discuss the influence of the cognitive style and organization learning on organization routines updating.SPSS19.0 and LISREL8.7 were used to conduct statistical analysis of 208 valid questionnaires.It draws the following conclusions:(1)Creative cognitive style positively affect the organization routines updating,and the organization structure is more inclined to organic,the positive effect is more significant.(2)Learning cognitive style positively affect the organization routines updating,and the organization structure is more inclined to organic,the positive effect is more significant.(3)Planned cognitive style negatively influences the organization routines updating,and the organizational structure more tends to be mechanical,the negative effect is more significant.In addition,(3)Organization learning plays a partial mediating role between managers' cognitive styles and organization routines updating.Finally,the conclusions of the study are discussed and the practical significance and shortcomings of this paper are put forward.
