With the development of science and technology,the Internet has become an indispensable tool in the office.Cyberslacking means that employees use the network to engage in non-work activities during working hours.Cyberslacking reduce the productivity.There is a lack of research on psychological level and the theoretical level of cyberslacking,and there are differences in the research results.Therefore,this study based on the theory of planned behavior and the deterrence theory.Using literature,interview and questionnaire methods to explore the impact of individual decision-making and organizational deterrence on cyberslacking and its mechanism.This study conducts research on cyberslacking around two central issues: First,what aspects do individuals consider and weigh before cyberslacking? Second,Can organization deterrence restrain cyberslacking? what is the way the organization deterrence affects cyberslacking? The research content revised two questionnaires,the cyberslacking of internal factors research and external factors research,the research results are as follows:(1)The revised subjective norms questionnaire consists of 6 items and uses the 7-point score of Likert with high reliability(? =.96),and the structural validity is also high;The revised perceived behavioral control questionnaire consists of 5 items and uses the 7-point score of Likert with high reliability(?=.74),and the structural validity is also high;(2)The cyberslacking attitude has significant differences in gender,age,education,use of network time,working years and work departments;Perceived behavioral control has significant differences in gender;Subjective norms has significant differences in age,education,use of network time,working years and work departments;Cyberslacking has significant differences in gender,age,education,use of network time,and work department;Organizational deterrence has significant difference in use of network time and working years;(3)The cyberslacking attitude,subjective norms and the ability to hide cyberslacking have significant positive predictive effects on cyberslacking.The theory of planned behavior can effectively explain cyberslacking;(4)Organizational deterrence positively moderate the relationship between thecyberslacking attitude and cyberslacking.Organizational deterrence positively moderate the relationship between the ability to hide cyberslacking and cyberslacking.Organizational deterrence positively moderate the relationship between subjective norms and cyberslacking.In summary,the theory of planned behavior explains the reason for cyberslacking in the work environment.That is,the cyberslacking attitude,subjective norms and the the perceived behavioral control have a positive impact on cyberslacking;Organizational deterrence can promote employees to engage cyberslacking.
