Comparative Study Of Regional Competitiveness Of China’s Three Major Bay Areas

The bay area is a region composed of coastal urban agglomeration,which breeds a lot of innovation and development opportunities and becomes the cradle of entrepreneurship and innovation in China.In the current situation of unsatisfactory economic development,China is also facing pressure from domestic and international economic development.Chinese economic development urgently needs new growth points to promote the economic growth of the whole country.Regional economy and regional competitiveness jointly promote the development of a region.Research on regional competitiveness can enable a region to understand its own advantages and disadvantages in the competition of economic globalization,and research on regional economy can enable a region to know how to become a winner in the competition of economic globalization.Different from other types of economy,bay area economy is an economic form based on bay area geography.In the international economic map,bay area economy is the highlight.The three major bay areas in the world are famous for their openness,livable and internationalization.Scientific and technological innovation is also the feature of the bay area.Bay area economy is the driving force leading the world economic development,and also the leader of the world economic development.Based on literature review and analysis,this paper introduces the three bay areas in China,lists the competitive advantages and disadvantages of each bay area,and tries to find out the problems in the development of Chinese bay area.Regional competitiveness is the key factor to judge whether a region can achieve sustainable development.Therefore,this paper USES 19 indicators to analyze the three major bay areas in China.Through empirical analysis,the common factors affecting the economic development level of all cities in the bay area are obtained.However,due to the limitations of index acquisition,it can only rely on statistical yearbooks,statistical bulletins and other databases.As a result,the authenticity of data will directly affect the reliability of the results of this study.In this paper,factor analysis method is used for data processing and analysis,a total of four factors are obtained,from which it can be seen that each factor ranks higher in the city,understand the regional competitiveness level of the three bay area and draw empirical conclusions and put forward Suggestions.There are two innovative points in this paper: first,this paper comprehensively analyzes the regional competitiveness of Chinese three major bay areas;The second is to establish a set of indicators to evaluate regional competitiveness with the three major bay areas of China as research objects,and comprehensively and systematically analyze and compare the regional competitiveness of the three major bay areas of China.
