The construction of transportation infrastructure is the necessary path to urban construction and is an important part of urban economic development.Urban rail transit is an significant element of the urban transportation system,which has many influences on the construction and the development of the city.Exploring the coupling relationship between urban rail transit and regional economy is of great significance to discover the key points of interaction between the both.Urban rail transit and regional economic systems have high-order nonlinear characteristics,and system dynamics has great advantages in solving this problem.The urban rail transit and regional economic system are divided into four different subsystems: economy,industry,employment,population and transportation.Based on the mechanism of different subsystems,each subsystem is linked by causal feedback relationship,and the coupling relationship between urban rail transit and regional economy is explored from the aspects of qualitative and quantitative.This paper takes Hohhot as an example to conduct an empirical study on the coupling relationship between urban rail transit and regional economy.According to the basic simulation output of the model,it is found that each element shows a trend of increasing year by year,which is consistent with the positive feedback relationship in the causal feedback relationship.In order to explore the key points of the interaction between urban rail transit and regional economic development,the proportion of urban rail transit investment in urban transport investment is adjusted to 0(ie,when there is no rail transit investment),and the system dynamics simulation output shows that the GDP value has dropped significantly it starts from 2016.After calculation,the impact on the GDP values in 2016 and 2017 is 2.15% and 5.01%.Respectively,and the total reduction in GDP is 23.859 billion yuan.According to the model,the impact will be increased year by year.The output value of the three industries,real estate investment,and land value showed different degrees of decline in this case.It can be seen that the investment construction of urban rail transit in Hohhot has a greater impact on the regional economy.The system dynamics reflects the interaction of internal structural elements.In order to explore the coupling relationship between Hohhot urban rail transit and the overall effect of regional economy further.In order to explore the overall development level of Hohhot urban rail transit and regional economic coupling and coordination further.At the situation of with and without urban rail transit investment in urban traffic.it is analysis the coupling of urban traffic and regional economic system.Through comparison,it is found that the coupling degree and coupling coordination degree between urban traffic and regional economy in the non-railway investment decreased significantly,and the coordination level dropped by one grade in 2016,2017,2021 and 2022.It is further explained that the investment construction of urban rail transit has a great impact on regional economic development.Its investment and construction has enhanced the contribution of urban transportation in the coordination relationship with regional economy,and played an important role in promoting the coordinated and coordinated development of the each other.According to the above research conclusions,this paper proposes the key measures to promote the coordinated development of urban rail transit and regional economy in Hohhot.So as to grasp the key points of urban rail transit and regional economic development in the urban rail transit planning and construction stage,this paper provide references for the government to formulate relevant policies.
