Study On Sustainable Development Of Characteristic Towns In Changsha City

Characteristic towns,as an important choice of New-type Urbanization and Rural Revitalization strategy,have attracted more and more attention from governments and enterprises.They are hot topics in tourism research and economic model research,and have gradually become a popular choice for people to travel or even settle down.With the continuous improvement of the central government's policy and norms on characteristic towns,characteristic towns have developed rapidly in many areas of China,but most of the related research focuses on the mature development of characteristic towns such as Zhejiang.Changsha's characteristic towns are still in the exploratory stage and lack of thematic research.In order to promote the development of Changsha's regional economy and enhance the economic,social and cultural value brought by the characteristic towns in Changsha,this paper attempts to make a deep analysis and exploration of the characteristic towns in Changsha.This paper mainly adopts literature research,field investigation,in-depth interviews,qualitative analysis and other research methods,and takes the specific requirements of sustainable development as the research perspective.Firstly,on the basis of combing the existing research,this paper analyses the formation process of characteristic towns from two aspects of theory and practice.Secondly,by combing the relevant policies of the state,this paper analyses the economic environment of Changsha,such as cultural industry,tourism industry and urbanization,and confirms that Changsha has the conditions to build characteristic towns.Thirdly,this paper conducts case studies of some characteristic towns in Changsha,and proves their planning and operation based onfield investigation and literature collection.On the basis of the above-mentioned cases,the author elaborates the problems and dilemmas faced by the characteristic towns in Changsha in the process of sustainable development,suits the remedy to the case,puts forward the countermeasures and measures for the sustainable development of the characteristic towns in Changsha,and realizes the sustainable development of tourism and the healthy and steady development of regional economy in Changsha.The study finds that there are several problems in the characteristic towns of Changsha: the concept and orientation of the characteristic towns are still not clear,the tendency of real estate in industrial cultivation,the lack of prominent industrial characteristics and the tendency of homogenization lead to the unsustainable economic development of the towns,the inadequate social and cultural functions,and the performance of government functions need to be strengthened.According to the above problems,the countermeasures proposed in this paper are as follows: Firstly,the government should put its position in order to deal with the relationship with the market.Secondly,from the perspective of economic sustainability,enterprises should change their traditional thinking,accurately orientate their industries and attach importance to human resources in the construction process of characteristic towns.Thirdly,from the perspective of social and cultural sustainability,the social and cultural functions of small towns should be guaranteed.Finally,the sustainable development of the ecological environment of small towns should be maintained.
