Research On The Dynamic Mechanism Of Sustainable Development In Characteristic Towns

The rapid urbanization of our country absorbs a large amount of rural surplus labor,the concentration of population and various factors of production promotes the economic development of the city and raises the living standards of urban residents,but it also brought about a series of problems such as the overwhelming ecological environment and unbalanced urban and rural development.As a transitional zone between urban and rural areas,small towns have the important function of undertaking the transfer of urban development factors and providing products and services for rural areas.Giving priority to the development of a group of characteristic small towns is an effective way to promote the transformation of urban industrial development and developing beautiful rural areas in China at this stage.Since the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China(MOHURD)announced the first batch of Chinese-characterized townships in 2016,an upsurge of creating specialty towns has been created throughout the country.This paper takes characteristic towns as the research object,and extracts the main development dynamic factors and interaction mechanism of featured towns from the perspective of sustainable development.And built a characteristic town of sustainable development evaluation index system and a characteristic small town sustainable development system dynamics model.Based on the characteristics of small town development case studies and industrial development,urban development related theory,the content of this paper is as follows: first of all,this paper analyzes the definition and development status of featured towns.Secondly,from the perspective of industrial competitiveness and sustainable development,a qualitative analysis of the sustainable development factors of featured towns was conducted.Thirdly,from the perspective of sustainable development of industrial economy,social culture,and ecological environment,an analytic hierarchy process was used to construct a model for evaluation of sustainable development capabilities of featured towns.Then,using system science thinking combined with system dynamics method,a dynamic model for the sustainable development of featured towns was constructed.Then a system dynamic model of sustainable development in characteristic towns was built.The characteristic small town is regarded as a socio-economic compound system and divided into three subsystems: the economic subsystem,the social subsystem,and the environment subsystem.The sustainable development of a characteristic town depends on the interaction and development of various subsystems.Finally,using the data of Heye Town,Shuangfeng County,Hunan Province,the paper makes an empirical analysis and puts forward relevant development suggestions based on the empirical results.This research can provide a reference for the evaluation of characteristic towns.The system dynamics model can be used as a tool for predicting the development trend of characteristic towns and analyzing the influence of relevant policies on characteristic towns.
