Research On Establishment And Implementation Of Lean Six Sigma In S Company Suzhou Plant

Toyota's Lean Production and Motorola's Six Sigma were introduced to China at the end of the20^th century,by the plants of Fortune Global 500 companies.Now it is known and accepted gradually by the local companies and their management team.The concept of minimizing the wastes and reducing the variance in process has changed the operation methods of many enterprises significantly.With the increase of manufacturing costs in China,Lean&Sig Sigma is more and more important to maintain our manufacturing competiveness in the worldwide.This paper takes the Suzhou factory of S company as the research object.Firstly,it introduces the current situation and major challenges that the factory is facing,analyses these problems from the perspective of enterprise development,and expounds the necessity to implement Lean Six Sigma Management.Secondly,introduces the detail progress of Lean Six Sigma implementation in Suzhou factory,such as core team building,roadmap setting,team member training and evaluation system establishment,to analyze the various problems in the practical work,to explore how to implement Lean Six Sigma in factory more effectively base on the actual situation of enterprise.At the same time,this paper focuses on the distinctive financial evaluation system of Lean Production,and discusses how to ensure that the Lean Six Sigma activities can bring real financial gains.Finally,this paper analyzes several successful projects during the Lean Six Sigma implementation in Suzhou factory,to expound the actual effect of Lean Six Sigma management,analyze the further enhancement plan of subsequent development.This paper also sums up the Lean Six Sigma development in S Company Suzhou factory,puts forward some suggestions for how to establish the Lean Six Sigma culture in manufacturing enterprise,and look at the prospects for further research.
