The transnational migration of academic staff among academic institutions has gradually formed a global knowledge network,As an emerging country,China urgently needs to change the country of emigration into the country of immigration,to solve the shortage of high-level academic talents and the loss of some highly educated talents. The organizational factors of the transnational migration of academic staff have gradually become an important topic for academics and management. In order to attract overseas high-level academic staff to return to work full-time,and actively explore the organizational factors of transnational migration of academic personnel is of great significance to China's scientific and technological innovation.Based on the social network theory, talent migration theory, human capital theory and the current situation of transnational migration of academic talents in China, this paper focuses on analyzing the dynamic mechanism of organizational level affecting the transnational migration of academic personnel. This paper suggests whether the academic staff can migrate successfully between academic institutions depends not only on the academic distance between academic institutions, the position of academic institutions in the transnational migration network, but also on the scientific research cooperation between academic institutions. Then based on the transnational migration data of TYTP candidates in information science, this paper constructs a transnational migration network of academic personnel.First, this paper carried out preliminary analysis of the affecting factors of transnational migration of academic talents and the internal relationship between different factors by conducting the descriptive statistics and correlation analysis on the sample data, and understanding the current situation of transnational migration of academic talents, the network location of academic institutions in the migration network, the academic level gap between academic institutions, the research cooperation between academic institutions.Second, this paper uses the bilateral gravitational model and the QAP regression analysis method to conduct the empirical test about the relationship amongacademic distance, network position, research cooperation and international migration. The results show that, firstly, when the “Thousand Youth” migrate between academic institutions across nations, the academic distance between institutions directly affects whether the academic staff can migrate successfully. The closer the academic distance between academic institutions, the higher the probability of academic personnel migrating successfully.Secondly,The higher the indegree of entry into the academic institutions, the higher the probability of academic personnel moving in.The higher the outdegree of out of the academic institutions, the higher the probability of academic personnel moving out.Thirdly, when the“Thousand Youth” migrate transnationally between academic institutions,The more research collaborations between academic institutions, the higher the probability of academic personnel migrating successfully.Fourthly, the spatial distance and academic distance positively moderates the relationship between research collaborations and transnational migration of academic talents. The closer the spatial distance and academic distance between academic institutions, the smaller the impact of research collaborations on the transnational migration of academic personnel.
