Research On Chinese Scholars' International Coauthor Network' Evolution In Management And Academic Contribution

The articles which are published in international management journals by Chinese scholars are used to measure standards of development of the Chinese scholars in the field of international management. The greater the amount of published papers in high level of management journal, the higher the number of papers cited, and it means scholars have the higher degree of peer recognition In the academic community. Accordingly, the larger the reference for study of other scholars, the greater the academic contribution to the management.This paper studies the following three aspects, (a) First with SCI, SSCI classification and a management classification which Chinese Ministry of Education announced to determine the scope of the study subjects, then preliminarily analyze the data, measure the statistical analysis of Chinese scholars in international management journals on the amount of published papers over the years, scholars in the amount of paper journals and institutional distribution of the amount of the distribution volume. (B) Construct separately network of international cooperation in management and international cooperation network of Chinese scholars, analyze the development of network, analyze the international management of the cooperation network of Chinese scholars. (C) First, analyze the academic contribution of international management of Chinese scholars from the number and the quality of articles, the results show that both the quantity and the quality of papers are on the uptrend. Then analyze the contribution of academic scholars from the perspective of the centrality of collaborative networks, the results shows that the academic contribution of Chinese scholars is on the increasing trend. Generally speaking, academic contribution to the international management of Chinese scholars is gradually increasing. Then this paper analyzes the international management contribution of Chinese scholars in all areas. The result shows that Chinese scholars focus on research in basic disciplines at the early time, as time goes on and refined cross-disciplinary, Chinese scholars concern to all areas of the management, but they mainly focus on the research of data mining, decision support, organizational behavior, knowledge management, logistics, mathematics or statistics...
