Product Quality Improvement Of S Company Based On Lean Six Sigma Method

In recent years,with the strengthening of national environmental supervision and protection,the domestic demand for monitoring of air,water and soil is increasing,and the environmental monitoring industry has caught up with a rare opportunity period and a dividend period.However,there is still a gap between the quality and performance of the domestic monitoring system and foreign products,and the huge domestic market was dominated by foreign brands.In this thesis,Lean Six Sigma method is used to study the online monitoring system of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)of S company as the research object.In view of the unstable product quality,high failure rate,and high service cost,S company introduced Lean Six Sigma management method and based on the DMAIC improvement process,used the Minitab tool to analyze the data,explored the root causes of variation,and improved the business.During the study,many tools are used including voice of customer(VOC),critical to quality(CTQ),SIPOC,Pareto diagram,flow chart,process capability analysis,measurement system analysis(MSA),cause-effect diagram,C&E matrix,failure mode and influence analysis(FMEA),design of experiment(DOE),standard operation procedure(SOP),statistical process control(SPC),5S,fool-proofing design,Kanban,lean layout and so on with Lean Six Sigma tools.Through the lean six sigma improvement,the service cost was reduced by 33%,the overall cost was reduced by 10%,and the product quality performance was greatly improved.The annual revenue was up to RMB 25 million.Coupled with the benefits of improving the results of the promotion to other products,the one-year improvement in revenue is no less than RMB 46 million.Through the implementation of the lean six sigma project,S company's product quality has been greatly improved.This thesis through an empirical research method,in-depth discussion of the application and promotion of Lean Six Sigma method in the environmental monitoring industry,clarified the importance and necessity of implementing Lean Six Sigma in the industry.This thesis has a high reference value for the introduction of Lean Six Sigma management methods for enterprises in the domestic environmental protection and environmental monitoring industries.
