The report of the 19 th National People's Congress pointed out that there is a problem of unbalanced development in China's region,which is mainly reflected that the eastern coastal areas are developing better,and relatively the western regions are relatively backward.Generally,our country has reached the well-off level,will build a well-off society in an all-round way soon,people's need for a better life is becoming more and more widely,but there is a contradiction between the growing people's need for a better life and the imbalance of development,main show that the demand of residents in developed area cannot be met and the basic needs of the residents in the relatively backward economic development areas are not guaranteed,which leads to the imbalance of regional consumption in China.Consumption is one of the three major demands for economic growth.Does the imbalance in regional consumption cause imbalances in China's regional economy? In the case of unbalanced regional consumption,research on how to meet the consumption needs of residents in economically developed regions and to ensure the basic consumption needs of economically underdeveloped regions is particularly important.Based on this,this paper studies the regional consumption imbalance in China and whether these differences affect the development of China's regional economy,and finally puts forward corresponding opinions on the regional consumption differences.The opening of this paper mainly introduces China's economic situation,the domestic and international research of consumption and then determines the appropriate research methods according to the research purpose of this paper,and puts forward the innovation and deficiency of this paper.The second chapter discuss the theory of consumption and its evolution.It describes the changes of consumption theory since classical economics.It also introduces the method of measuring consumption gap and the regional division standard of China,which provides the theoretical basis for the following research.The third chapter analyzes the differences of consumption in eastern,central,western and northeastern China based on qualitative and quantitative perspectives.From the two aspects of total consumption and consumption structure,the paper analyzes the current situation of regional consumption in China,and then uses the method of Theil index to measure the regional consumption gap in China based on the two perspectives of population and GDP weight.Finally,the regional consumption gap is compared.analysis.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the impact of regional consumption imbalance on the economy in China,and discusses the impact of regional economic growth on the difference between national economic growth and local economic growth,and introduces a quantitative empirical model for quantitative analysis.The impact of the gap on economic development.The fifth chapter is to find out the reasons for the differences in regional consumption in the context of understanding the current regional consumption differences in China.This chapter mainly uses the principal component analysis method to analyze the importance of the factors influencing the consumption of each region,and then uses the empirical analysis to analyze the influencing factors of consumption in each region.Finally,based on the contribution rate of each factor to regional consumption,the reasons for the imbalance of consumption in China are analyzed.The sixth chapter summarizes the current situation and influencing factors of China's consumption imbalance,and proposes corresponding suggestions on how to solve the imbalance of consumption in China.
