Regional economic development disparity is one of universalism and internationalism problems and has been a heated topic among governments. Since the existing and widening of regional economic development disparity will bring great impact on the economic sustainable development and social stabilization of any country or any region. Aimed at the trend of the increasingly widening of regional disparity since reform and opening-up. China has turned her regional development route from littoral-oriented strategy to regional harmonious stratety, and now to scientific development ,which is human-oriented ,thorogh, harmony and sustainable. In this paper, our research based on the balanced development theory and non-balanced development theory. Combining with the relevant research development of regional economy disparity from home and abroad, taking Chongqing for an example, this paper described features of intra-regional disparities and inter-regional disparities from the overall level of economic, economic growth, income level, industrial structure, based on dividence of"One-circuit Two-wings". Based on the above analysis, we also analyzed space constitutes of regional economic development disparity and analyzed influencing factors with qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, and finally we Put forward countermeasures and suggestions of regional coordinated development. The main conclusions were as follows,1.Under the decade after territorying, chongqing had a rapid economic development. From an economic look at the total, the GDP of"One-circuit Two-wings"in 2007 is around three times in 1998. GDP per capita of one-circut are about 2.7 times the northeast wing, or the southeast wing. On the analysis of GDP per capita growth rate, One-circuit is at a relatively slower average speed of about 10 percent, the growth of the two wings are faster, is about 15 percent. Judging from the income level, there was a gap between the average annual wage for urban workers and per capita net income of rural households. It is clearly that Chongqing's gap between urban and rural is becoming larger. Judging from the industrial structure, Chongqing remains a typical"two three one" structure. The industrial of various districts and counties have large differences.2. From the decomposition of Theil coefficient, the contribution rate of the gap among the three regions become from 34.1 percent in 1998 to 28.4 percent in 2007. the three economic disparities within the region, the biggest contribution to the economy is from One-circuit, accounting for 42.1 percent. the northeast wing and Southeast wing, respectively, accounte for 14 percent and 15.6 percent. The gap among the regions is a drop, but the gap region are at increase and become a major source of regional disparities.3.We analyze factors affecting the economic gap, this paper argues that ideas, location, infrastructure, the development of basic and input elements are the main ledding to the current situation. The two factors affect economic growth, and led to the Chongqing's economic disparities and expand.4.The countermeasures and suggestions of coordinated development of regional in Chongqing were as follows,①Emancipate the mind and open wider to the outside.②Integrating spatial structure and Promote interaction between the Two-wings and One-circuit.③Slant public investment and improve infrastructure in backward areas.④Organize regional economic and technological cooperation, step up to support efforts in the reservoir area.⑤Highlight the industrial development and enhance the capacity for self-development of Two-wings.
