New Product Introduction(NPI)is a process that enables enterprises to develop new products from concept design to rapid and accurate trial production, and ultimately to high-quality production. To successfully introduce new product to the market, the enterprise not only consider the market demand, competitors, technology and other factors, but also noted the huge impact of the supply chain on new products introduce to the market. This paper studies the supply chain management case of D company's new server NPI,based on the theory of supply chain management analysis of transnational enterprises supply disruption risk identification and its corresponding mitigation strategy. The risks of supply disruption to market are influenced by the supply chain capacity. On the one hand, excessive dependence on certain supplier's components to increase the risk of product supply. On the other hand, enterprises are linked with each other in the global supply chain, which increase the difficulty of supply chain management. Therefore,it is very important to fully understand the potential supply situation and risks. So that the enterprises are able to make the counter measures to prevent the supply chain risks. This paper analyzes the corresponding mitigation strategy of supply disruptions of D Company's server NPI,leading clean launch with an agreed inventory level set up in regions from a certain periods prior to RTS(Ready to Ship).Firstly, analysis source of supply chain disruption risks from three aspects: supply risk, coordination risk and demand risk. Finally identifies the risks of new product supply disruption as follows: supplier capability uncertainty, insufficient storage module supply, supply resource concentration,multi-level supplier management risk and demand uncertainty.Secondly, using risk matrix to assess risk from probability and influence, screening out three highest potential risks.Developing alternative source and building strategic buffer to enhance supply chain flexibility.Through multiple supplier management strategies to monitor and prevent supply risks.
