Study On Serviceoriented Manufacturing Enterprises Performance Evaluation Based On The Performance Prism

In recent years,a number of well-known manufacturers such as Ford,Shaangu etc.manufacturering enterprises are adjusting the management idea and shifting from product-oriented to service-oriented.They are developing various types of product-related services actively and transiting from a purely product manufacturers to services and complete solutions provider gradually,the serve be a new profit growth point for them.Servitization become one of inevitable choices for China’s manufacturing enterprises which want to gain a competitive advantage and sustainable development in today’s world economic environment.To service-oriented manufacturing enterprises,whose profit model has transformated.Traditional performance evaluation system can not adapt to the requirement of service-oriented manufacturing enterprise management changes.But enterprise performance evaluation has been one of the important content of enterprise management,and it is the baton that can guide enterprise healthy development.So,how to build a scientific and reasonable performance evaluation system to evaluate business performance in Servitization background has become an urgent problem.In this paper,enterprise sustainable development as the strategic level,stakeholder value maximization as the value orientation,performance prism as the evaluation theory,we constructed a new set of service-oriented manufacturing enterprise performance evaluation system which including five interrelated aspects(stakeholders’ satisfaction,stakeholders’ contribution,strategic,process,capacity).This system breaking the limitations of the existing performance evaluation system is only concerned with of the individual stakeholder.This paper provideed a basis for our service-oriented manufacturing enterprises to carry out performance evaluation.Firstly,the service-oriented manufacturing enterprise features and the new change of service-oriented manufacturing companies performance evaluation are analyzed.Performance prism is chooseed as a service-oriented manufacturing enterprise performance evaluation tools on the basis of we elucidated the traditional manufacturing enterprises performance evaluation system exsit several limitations and it is unsuitable for service-oriented manufacturing enterprise and we analyzed the advantages and the feasibility of its application;Secondly,the service-oriented manufacturing enterprise performance evaluation index system was constructed according to the performance prism;Thirdly,the service-oriented manufacturing enterprise performance evaluation system based on the performance prism was applied to Shangu from 2010 to 2012,and Verified the reasonableness of system by comparing the evaluation results with the enterprise actual situation.Finally,the management significance of this study is presented.Performance prism not only considered all stakeholders but also considered the two-way role of enterprise and stakeholder,not only get the clearer logic but also get more thorough analysis of performance problems.This paper provide the reference for our country service-oriented manufacturing enterprises to carry out the performance evaluation work.
