Today, New Economical Times is coming. Information Technology develops very quickly, the economical knowledge has already acted the main role in this time. The management and operation environment which is in the company must be faced the huge change. The business management has already been the strategic management. The Performance Appraisal takes an effective way to monitor and manage the economical activities in the company, not only carrying on the self-surveillance, self-restraint, but also becoming the new management tool in the hard competition environment. The traditional Performance Appraisal almost only focus on the benefit of the shareholder. It establishes on the financial data, pays great attention to the tangible asset and the account result. It is unable to fit the situation in New Economical Times, Focusing on strategic management, responsing the shareholder's benefit, attenting stakeholder's demand, become more important in hard competition in the future.This paper described an effective appraisal tool in practice using. That is Performance Prism. The author made much research on company's performance management, relative to the challenge of environment change in business and operation management. The paper introduce the Performance Prism theoretic in performance appraisal. The Performance Prism well analysis the relationship of stakeholder and point out who is the main stakeholder. When company is carrying on continuable development strategic, stakeholder benefit oriented, the Performance Prism construct a perfect system which include both the financial index and the non-financial index, both the qualitative analysis index and quantitative analysis index, from the financial performance, the customer performance, the staff performance, the supplier performance and the community environment performance. The Performance Prism is the performance appraisal system which pays close attention to company's coordinate ability.By organizing and implementing the Performance Prism system in DW Corporation, the author arrivals at a conclusion that the Performance Prism system is more scientific and more valuable than the others. Thus, the DW Corporation keeps the advantage in competition, enhances wholly competitive ability and so on. At the same time, through performance prism appraisal, it provide the reference in the inspection ,the award and penalty, the basis superintendent decision-making, and provides the basis for the enterprise strategy adjustment. The Performance Prism is significance in practice using.
