Research On Community's Maturity Of Shanghai Makerspace

Makerspace has become the focus of national and local government's work,with the support of national policy,makerspaces grow and develop fastly all over the country as mushroomed.But at the same time of the surge number of makerspaces,there exists some problems such as it only seeks the quantity rather than quality.In facet,there are few makerspaces with high quality.With the development of the Internet and mobile Internet,the community gets more and more attention from all walks of our life.People can easily find their own interest in an "organization",and gathered together very conveniently and quickly.In order to achieving the exchange of resources and knowledge-innovation,they will spread all kinds of information,exchange emotions,culture or share the value,Running a good community can bring great value to community sponsors and community members.Therefore,the combination of community and makerspace must be able to enhance the operational performance of makerspace.However,in our country,the development of makerspace is extremely short.Research on the community focused on the field of marketing and sociology.There almost no research on the contact with makerspace and community,let alone study on makerspace community,maturity and so on.Therefore,this article will define the definition and function of makerspace community and make a research on the development of Shanghai makerspace community,focusing on makerspace community and the maturity of makerspace community in Shanghai.Therefore,this article will mainly from the following aspects to carry out research:Firstly,there are only three years of makerspaces' development in China,it still belongs to the initial stage.It is rare to combine the study of the makerspace and community theory.Therefore,this article will organize and develop the related theories of the community based on the existing research on makerspace.Therefore,this article will define the definition and function of makerspace community.Secondly,analysis in the existing form of makerspace community the Shanghai.By the end of 2016,Shanghai has more than 500 makerspaces,each of themakerspace will organize some community activities,but the development of the community is also varied.Therefore,this article divides the makerspace community into ten forms based on the research on makerspace community in Shanghai.Thirdly,on the basis of the study of the ten development forms of makerspace community in Shanghai,we can not evaluate the development degree of makerspace community in Shanghai.Therefore,this paper will uses qualitative and quantitative methods to design a set of evaluation system,to evaluate the maturity's development stage of makerspace community in Shanghai.In addition,this article uses 25 makerspace community in Shanghai to do a positive analysis of maturity if makerspace community.Then,we find out the problems in the development of the makerspace community in Shanghai,and put forward the corresponding measures and suggestions to promote the development of makerspace in Shanghai.
