Study On The Present Situation Of Rural Empty-nesters For The Senior Citizens In Pulandian District Of Dalian

China has come to an ageing society and the number of empty nestersis soaring.As themajor portion of the population,the rural population has also formed a large number of empty nesters on account of most adults have gone out to work.Compared with urban areas,rural empty-nest old people are vulnerable groups in respect of old-age care.Therefore,the joint efforts of the government,society,community,families,and individuals are needed to improve the status quo and enhance the quality and level of their old-age care.The old-age pension for the elderly in the countryside is of great significance in China's social development and transition period.It is also a major issue.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to discuss and analyze the old-age care of the rural empty-nesters in China and put forward targeted suggestions for improvement.This article select the rural empty-nest old people in Pulandian District of Dalian as a sample of the study by using questionnaires,interviews and data analysis method to analyze the present situation of rural empty nest elderly in rural areas in terms of natural conditions,economic conditions,spiritual life etc.The analysis results show that the rural empty-nesters have the following main problems.First,empty nesters lack material and economic support.Second,empty nesters lack life care.Third,empty nesters lack emotional care.Fourth,empty nesters lack medical security.In addition,based on the analysis results and in-depth interview research,it is concluded that the causes of the pension problems of rural empty nesters in Pulandian include four.The economic development of Pulandian region is backward.Family endowment pattern is weakened.Social endowment system is not perfect.Social security mechanism is unsound.Based on the above research and referring to relevant experience at home and abroad,this paper puts forward feasible countermeasures and suggestions in line with the actual situation of Dalian Pulandian district.In particular,we should give play to the role of family endowment and community endowment,improve and guarantee the material basis of endowment,andstrengthen the rural pension system,so as to effectively improve the pension effect of rural empty nesters.
