In recent years,with the rapid development of electronic commerce in China,platform construction,electronic payment and credit problems are basically solved while express has always become an important bottleneck in the development of e-commerce.How do e-commerce enterprises choose a courier company and keep the balance between cost and customer satisfaction is an important issue for all electronic enterprises.K electronic company is a traditional food and drug group enterprise that found to try electric merchant channel.K e-company has a self-support e-commerce platform aiming to build a good brand image and also sets up flagship stores in the third-party e-commerce platform,such as Jingdong,T-Mall.Moreover,it establishes a WeChat shop through Wechat at the same time.At the beginning of the operation,K electronic company chose Shunfeng and Yuantong as its courier companies.So orders from flagship store and WeChat shop channels were assigned to Shunfeng Courier Company while orders from the third-platform were assigned toYuantong Courier Company.However,customers continuously complain about this simple expressage delivery mode.With the increase of the business of self-support mall in Jingdong,the cost of express continues to increase.Therefore,how to select courier companies and distribute orders is the problem demanding prompt solution for K electronic company.Regarding to the selection of the courier company,through the analysis of the existing literatures,the relevant experts of K electronic company select the evaluation indexes of the courier company,including 5 primary indicators(involving basic service ability,extended service ability,express cost,comprehensive strength and customer satisfaction)as well as 28 secondary indicators.The weight of each index is obtained by using hierarchical analysis method.Finally,according to the comprehensive evaluation,we choose Shunfeng,EMS and Yunda as partners of K electronic company from Shunfeng,Yuantong,EMS and Yunda five courier companies.The reasonable distribution of orders is the key to the realization of improving customer experience and logistics cost optimization management.Combining with K electronic company's own situation,two types of factors that influence orders distribution are analyzed from quantitative and qualitative aspects—order's property and courier company's characteristics.Meanwhile,reasonable order distribution scheme is made,the weight of express cost,timeliness,supplier performance and customer level are determined according to the related theoretical model and method and a model of dynamic distribution scheme is constructed.Finally,the datamation and systematization of dynamic order distribution are realized and the linkage mechanism of order distribution ratio and supplier performance evaluation is formulated.In the calculation of the distribution model of the courier company,the order management system can decide the order distribution systematically by obtaining the corresponding KPI points of each supplier last month.In this way,the performance evaluation score of the suppliers will be dynamically linked with the volume of business they will get,thus improving the enthusiasm of the courier companies.And then they are willing to take measures to improve the KPI score for getting more volumes of business.Actual application indicates that the optimized courier selection scheme and order distribution scheme work a lot in controlling logistics cost and market share as well as maintaining reasonable profits to achieve sustainable growth.
