The Status And Recommendations For The Fruit Industry In Qionglai City

Over the past 30 years of reform and opening up,the environment of agricultural development both home and abroad has been and is undergoing many profound changes.It is necessary to explore new ways of production and management for the fruit production industry that can be catch the steps of these changes.Practices have proved that industrialization development path is the right choice of fruit industry.Only by the ways of market-oriented,optimizing the combination of various production factors,implementing specialized production and large-scale construction,can we grasp the opportunities brought about by economic globalization and realize the sustainable and healthy development of the fruit production.In this study,we carried out thoroughly investigation and analysis of the developmental status of the fruit industry in Qionglai City,Sichuan Provence,by combination of macro and micro-scale research,quantitative and qualitative investigation,literature data collection and verification methodology.Based on the results,SWOT analysis of the industrialization development of fruit in Qionglai City is carried out.Our results demonstrated that Qionglai has the intrinsic advantages of good natural environment,nice social and economic conditions,proper scale and variety of foundation,pronouncing industrial integration development conditions,broad market prospects and strong policy support.At the same time,there are shortcomings and threats such as the blindness expansion by the farmers,the lack of professional cooperatives,the poor storage and marketing capacity of fruits,the lack of well-known brands,fierce market competition and insufficient working population.According to the internal and external environmental condition and competition analysis,we propose eight development strategies for both government officers and enterprises holders.They are overall planning,enhances the comprehensive development ability of the fruit tree industry;strengthens guidance,strengthens the technical training of fruit farmers;grasps the leader and gives full play to the role of specialized cooperatives;internal adjustment and external guidance,upgrading fruit storage and processing industry;standardize the market conditions,accelerate the process of e-commerce construction;integrate resources to build well-known characteristic brands;rely on science and technology,take the road of comprehensive and integrative production,increase study and research investment.These preferential policies strive to industrialize fruit production in Qionglai City,hoping to provide a reference guide to promote sound and rapid development of the fruit industry.
