BC Company's New Product Development Process Optimization Based IPD

Traditional manufacturing enterprises in China face unprecedented challenges because of the rapid development of China's market economy and internet,the increasingly fierce competition in the commercial society,the “renewal of the old” and the constant escalation of consumer demand.The traditional core competitive advantages-quality and cost-are gradually weakening,and more and more companies will continue to develop and introduce new products as an important means to maintain their competitive advantages and acquire new sources of profits.If traditional manufacturing companies want to maintain their competitive advantages,they must consistently deliver competitive new products to the market.To continuously provide these new products,they must build market-oriented new product development processes.In 2003,FT began to introduce Huawei's IPD R&D system.Over the past 10 years,it has always adhered to strict R&D process control,and product R&D has been combined with corporate strategy for a long period of time.As a wholly owned subsidiary of FT,BC Corporation is fully responsible for the operation and development of the integrated kitchen business.Since 2009,it has introduced the IPD integrated product development process at the headquarters.However,due to the different types of products and the lack of introduction,the original development process is not very suitable for the current business development status of the BC company,which leads to a series of problems such as difficulties in the introduction of new products and low success rate in the BC company's new product development and management.This article is based on the theory of IPD integrated product development process and door management process.It combines BC company's organizational structure,research and development,production and operation,through "IPD Development Management Process Optimization Project" and "BC Product Breakthrough Project",to studie and practice newproduct development and management process for BC company.It is hoped that BC will find a way to enhance product strength through the optimization of new product development and management processes,thereby enhancing the company's core-competitiveness.
