Impact Of Relevant Stakeholders On Food Safety Traceability Systems

Food scandals in recent years have caused people to concerns about food safety and quality issues,leading food safety become a maj or concern issue in all countries around the world.In response to increasingly serious food safety issues,many countries have developed laws,policies and standards for food safety and quality management.Traceability is also considered as a tool to meet food safety and quality requirements,not only to improve safety in the food chain,but also to increase consumer confidence,connect producers and consumers and is considered as an effective safety and quality monitoring system.However,while food safety traceability systems can provide safety and quality assurance for food at retail terminals,the enthusiasm of companies to implement traceability systems is influence by variety factors.The existing research of traceability system mainly is mainly focus on using certain traceability technology to trace certain kind of product and research of using different technologies in different circulation stages.researches which direct against all relevant stakeholders at once in the food safety traceability system are not much.There are few studies on the impact of relevant stakeholders on traceability technology option and traceability level option from an enterprise perspective.This paper focuses on enterprises that primarily produce fresh products,frozen foods and snack foods.First,analyze the impact of relevant stakeholders on the traceability technology option and traceability level option when an enterprise implementing traceability systems.Then,the supply chain partnership is introduced into the model as a moderator variable to explore the impact of relevant stakeholder on the traceability technology option and traceability level option under the moderating effect of partnership between enterprise and supply chain partnership.This study obtained empirical data through questionnaire survey,and used SPSS 25.0 and Amos 20.0 for data analysis to verify the hypothesis proposed in this study.Finding showed:Cognitive levels,willingness to pay,support policy,regulatory policies and media attention have significant positive effects on traceability technology option and traceability levels option.Supply chain partnerships have a significant positive moderating effect on the relationship between cognitive level,willingness to pay,support policy and traceability technology and level option.Based on the empirical research results,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the implementation of food safety traceability system in enterprises.
