Partner Selection Of Agricultural Enterprises

The rapid development of economic globalization has brought about a great change in the supply and demand of the trade market in various industries.In order to respond quickly to market and consumers demand,many enterprises located in different regions need to carry out long-distance manufacture,transportation and circulation of raw materials,semi-finished products and finished products which are required for the production of their own products.As a result,supply chain technology having come into being.Agriculture is every country's basic industry.With the rapid development of science and technology,Agriculture industry gradually gets rid of the restrict of environment and is more and more regulated by the market.Agriculture-related enterprises which have the characteristics of small scale and decentralization are important subjects in the trade of agricultural products.Therefore,the supply chain management technology has great practical value for agriculture-related enterprises.The primary section of supply chain management is to select suitable partners,because the quality of partners directly determines the success or failure of supply chain management.At present,most agriculture-related enterprises select their partners using subjective judgment methods.Some unsuitable partners lead to the low operation efficiency of supply chain and even the failure.Therefore,it is particularly important for agriculture-related enterprises to select right supply chain partners.Chapter? is the introduction,introducing the research background,purpose and significance,the research situation of the supply chain management at home and abroad,the advantages and disadvantages of existing research,and research methods.Chapter? is concept definition and theory introduction,defining the concept of supply chain,supply chain management and agriculture-related enterprises,and introducing research methods such as transaction cost theory,enterprise resource and ability theory,value chain theory and "3c" theory,and several methods,like operation cost method,data envelopment analysis method and artificial neural network analysis method.Chapter? summarizes the present development and the existing problems of supply chain management and partner selection of agriculture-related enterprises.Chapter? is the construction of the dynamic evaluation model of supply chain partners for agriculture-related enterprises.using the three-stage coding of root theory,the partners of the agriculture-related enterprises are divided into three types including product manufacturers,product distributors and logistics carriers.The evaluation index system consists of five indexes of commonness and one characteristic index.The common indexes include the financial management ability,the information processing ability,the basis of cooperation between two parties,the reputation of enterprises and the personnel management ability.The characteristic index refers to the business ability that sets up different indicators for the three types of supply chain enterprises mentioned above.Taking the time factor into consideration,this paper formulates a dynamic,comprehensive evaluation model of the supply chain partners for agribusiness which integrates the partners' performance in the past,present and future.Chapter? is an empirical analysis.this model has been used to successfully select a suitable raw milk supplier for a dairy company using established dynamic model.Chapter? is conclusion and suggestion.In order to improve the supply chain policy support system,the government should constantly improve the supply chain policy support system,enterprises should attach importance to supply chain management,improve their own innovation ability,reasonably select partners,keep the information communication channels open,and establish a reasonable enterprise supervision mechanism.The research shows that when choosing supply chain partners,the agriculture-related enterprises generally evaluate partners from six aspects,including five indexes of commonness: the financial management ability,the information processing ability,the basis of cooperation between two parties,the reputation of enterprises and the personnel management ability,and one characteristic index: the business ability.The characteristic index sets different evaluation criteria for three types of partners.The supply chain partners of agribusiness can be divided into three categories: product manufacturers,product sellers and logistics transporters.When selecting product manufacturers,the enterprise business ability can be evaluated by indexes such as product quality,product performance-price ratio,delivery speed and production capacity;when choosing product sellers,we should pay attention to their sales costs,sales capacity and distribution channel;when choosing logistics transporters,their business ability should be evaluated from aspects of transportation costs,transportation quality,transportation speed and transportation scale.The case study showed that this dairy company considered the financial management ability of suppliers firstly,followed by the information processing ability and the importance of enterprises' business ability.To be specific,the value of information sharing,enterprise size and information transfer ability are most important,delivery speed and price performance ratio of suppliers are less significant.
