| China is a mountainous country,and mountain area accounts for 33% of the whole area.With the rapid growth of mountain tourism economy in recent years,mountain tourism has become a hot and an important topic in academic discussion.During the“Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” period,Guizhou Province clearly puts forward that tries our best to promote the growth of tourism industry,and strives to build a tourism brand,named “Province in Mountain Park,Elegant in Colorful Guizhou”.It is striven to build a famous tourism destination and province Guizhou in mountain tourism.With the rapid development in Guizhou mountainous tourism,there are some problems turning up,such as insufficient or excessive development of mountain tourism resources and poor quality of tourism practitioners.Therefore,it is urgent to develop the advantages and fill the disadvantages for improving the competitiveness of the mountain tourism industry in the province.This thesis takes Guizhou Province as the research object,comprehensively applies the theories and related knowledge of Regional Economics,Tourism,Ecology and other disciplines to explore the status and ranking of Guizhou’s tourism competitiveness in“Dian”,“Qian”,“Chuan”,“Gui”,“Yu”,analyze the problems of Guizhou mountain tourism,and then gives some effective advice.Firstly,this thesis systematically summarizes the research on competitiveness of mountain tourism and regional tourism abroad and at home,and then interprets the core concepts and related theories.Secondly,based on the Michael Porter diamond Model,the mountain tourism competitiveness evaluation index system has been constructed from three dimensions,including the production factors,demanding conditions,relating and support of the industry.And according to the Analytic Hierarchy Process and the Delphi method,the index weight can be determined.Thirdly,the empirical research was carried out in Guizhou Province,and the Hierarchical Cluster method is used to quantitatively analyze and combines the qualitative analysis method to determine the scope of the competition object--“Dian”,“Chuan”,“Gui”,“Yu”.Then,the score of tourism competitiveness of them are calculated.Fourthly,the results are analyzed and evaluated in Guizhou Province.It shows that:(1)The overall competitiveness of mountain tourism is relatively low and needs to be further improved;(2)There are some advantages in natural resources of mountain tourism,market conditions of tourism and transportation;(3)There are a few advantages in human resources,infrastructure resources,capital resources,nature environmental conditions,humane environmental conditions,catering and lodging industry and so on.At last,on the basis of the results,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward: constructing the development and marketing system,implementing the strategy of talent brigade,constructing a diversified investment and financing system,improving the basic supporting facilities,promoting the transformation and upgrading of related industries,and implementing the ecotourism environment monitoring. |
