Since starting in 1995,the credit card in China,the credit scale of rapid development,but due to the early stage of the credit card business in characteristics such as larger with a long cycle,earnings,there is still more domestic bank credit card business are losing money,credit card business,as one of the profit center,implements retail strategic transformation has important significance for commercial Banks,improve the level of credit card business profit become an urgent problem in the our country commercial bank.On the basis of summarizing the research results at home and abroad,this paper expounds the development status and profit status of commercial Banks' credit card business,and starts from the characteristics of profit sources —Customers.Taking customer characteristics such as gender,age,education level and number of transactions as variables from the two dimensions of customer demographic characteristics and consumption behavior characteristics,this paper takes the credit card business operation data of commercial Banks as research samples and proposes research hypotheses.Use AMOS 24.0software build a structural equation model research customer characteristic variables impact on the level of credit card business profit way,and measure the standardized path coefficient.Through gender,the study found that customer card limit,the number of transactions,the transaction amount,line utilization,record of credit card business has remarkable effect on profitability and net-like structure,the relation between characteristic variable customer education degree and the impact on the customer's transaction significantly and annual income for the positive relationship,customer age had a significant effect on line utilization,customer's age,the lower the credit line utilization.The above research results are beneficial for commercial Banks to identify high-potential profitable customer groups among cardholders,reasonably allocate marketing resources and realize profit maximization.
