| Chinese modern economics developed gradually in the process of transplanting western economics,in which international students played an important role in the communication of modern western learning.Around the 1920 s,China saw a boom in studying in the United States,and Chinese students who went to the United States returned home and spared no effort to spread the ideas of western economics schools to China.Among them,institutional economics also spreads to China gradually as an important economic school and produces far-reaching influence.In the process of studying and disseminating the western institutional economics,Dr.Zhang Sumin,a doctor studying in the United States,gradually formed his own idea of institutional economics and actively applied it in practice,making outstanding contributions to the construction of China's economic system.During the period of the Republic of China,China's economic theory ushered in its brilliant period of development,reached a new height unprecedented in modern China,and social upheaval brought about a free environment of academic innovation.Under this social background,Zhang Sumin's economic thought also presents the characteristic of diversification.He is involved in a wide range of fields,such as business administration,institutional economics,dominated economy,finance,monetary finance,insurance,international trade and other theories.Among his numerous economic thoughts,his institutional economic thought has special features.During his study in the United States,Zhang Sumin studied under the famous master of institutional economics,John R.Commons.In addition,he took an active part in the workers' movement in his early years,so he had his own unique views on institutional economics,and put forward many relevant Suggestions on current economic development in combination with China's reality.His research results focus on China's economic problems at that time,which has certain reference significance for the establishment of modern China's market economic system.Therefore,this paper selects Zhang Sumin's thought of institutional economy to study,which has positive practical significance for China to build an economic system with Chinese characteristics and Chinese style,develop the economy with Chinese characteristics,and reform the economic system.This paper mainly studies the characteristics and outstanding contributions of Zhang Sumin's system economic thought from three aspects: inheriting,innovating and spreading it in China.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the life of Zhang Sumin and the background of the generation of his thoughts on institutional economy.The second chapter introduces Zhang Sumin's inheritance of early western institutional economic thoughts,focusing on his thoughts on "heresy" economic thoughts,especially his in-depth study on John R.Commons' s institutional economic thoughts.The third chapter introduces Zhang Sumin's innovation of the early western institutional economic thought,which shows that in the early period of institutional school,Zhang Sumin paid attention to the neglect of "state" in economics,initiated the research on Karl Heinrich Marx's "state" thought and the pioneering academic value of his doctoral thesis in the development of institutional economics.The fourth chapter introduces the dissemination and application of Zhang Sumin's thoughts on western institutional economy in China.Finally,the fifth chapter makes a simple summary of Zhang Sumin's thought on institutional economy,and objectively analyzes the characteristics,significance and limitations of Zhang Sumin's thought on institutional economy. |
