Cost-benefit Analysis Of Millet Planting In Hebei Province

In recent years,with the improvement of people's quality of life and the transformation of dietary structure,millet has become an important part of ensuring the balance of food supply and demand and the balance of diet in China.Domestic scholars mainly research on food security to improve the production of cereals and other miscellaneous grains to solve the bottleneck of industrial development;foreign scholars are committed to the development of nutritional and health functions of cereals.While advancing the reform of the supply side of agriculture,the state and local governments have successively issued policies to support the development of millet industry,and the prospects for the development of millet industry are broad.As a large province of millet cultivation in Hebei Province,although it has regional advantages,its regional advantages play a poor role.The problems in millet cultivation seriously hinder the increase of planting income.Therefore,a detailed analysis of the development status of the millet industry in Hebei Province,and analysis of its planting costs and planting income,seeking to limit the factors of millet planting income,and propose an effective solution is the purpose of this paper.The theories,methods and even conclusions used in this paper can be tried by the regions with similar natural environment,and have certain reference significance.It also has important practical significance for the academic research of the development of the grain industry and the promotion of the reform of the agricultural supply side structure by the government departments.Based on the literature analysis method,on-site investigation method,trend analysis method and empirical analysis method,based on the understanding of the status quo of millet planting industry in Hebei Province,this paper first analyzes the trend of the related indicators of millet planting cost and income in Hebei Province.At present,the problem of undeveloped millet planting in Hebei Province is followed.Secondly,using multiple linear regression and principal component analysis methods,SPSS22.0 is used to establish a regression model,and empirical analysis is carried out to empirically analyze the influence degree of factors affecting planting income.Finally,put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions to improve the profit of millet.The conclusions of this paper are as follows:Firstly,through the analysis of the status quo and cost and benefit of millet cultivation in Hebei Province,it is found that the main problems in the cultivation of millet in Hebei Province are: the yield level of millet needs to be improved,the selection of millet is not reasonable enough,and the seed quality is low.The technology support needs to be further improved,the cost of millet cultivation is unreasonable,the scale of planting is not formed,the business entity is single,the production and investment ratio is low,the mechanization level needs to be improved,the price of Guzi is not accurate,and the price fluctuates frequently.Second,from the results of empirical analysis,the factors affecting the net profit of millet are as follows: production-to-investment ratio> average selling price> fertilizer expenditure> millet sown area> land cost> indirect cost> mechanical operation expenditure> annual average Rainfall>Yield Level>Animal Cost>Farmer Fertilizer Fee> Labor Cost.Thirdly,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the problem of millet planting in Hebei Province are proposed to improve the yield of millet planting: The countermeasures proposed from the farmer's planting level mainly include: improving the yield level of millet,optimizing the cost structure of millet planting,improving the level of agricultural mechanization,and promoting Moderate scale operation,strengthen the cultivation of planting business entities.The government-level countermeasures mainly include: strengthening government guidance,introducing third-party information services,ensuring the timeliness of information,expanding the scope of subsidies for millet cultivation,vigorously developing industrial poverty alleviation,strengthening the research and development of millet technology,and strengthening the pre-judgment of weather.Fourth,due to the variety advantages of millet in Hebei Province,the need for national supply-side reform,and the regional advantages of Hebei Province,Hebei Province has a promising future.The innovation of this paper is to try to introduce the “production-to-investment ratio”,which can be used to reflect the scale of planting,and the cause of the cause;the annual average rainfall of the main producing area of millet in Hebei Province.Based on the external factors such as "annual average rainfall in main millet producing areas of Hebei Province" and artificially controllable "sown area",the regression model was established by using SPSS22.0 statistical software,and the influence degree on the planting income of millet in Hebei Province was deeply explored.
