At present,China’s manufacturing industry has developed rapidly,the level of innovation has increased significantly,and the capacity of resource conservation and environmental protection has continued to grow.However,its high investment,high pollution and low benefit economic growth mode not only consumes a lot of energy,but also seriously pollutes the environment.Therefore,we should promote the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry by implementing innovation drive,improve the innovation ability of manufacturing industry,save resources and protect the ecology,realize the sustainable development of manufacturing industry in China,and make the manufacturing system change from factor type to innovation type,from extensive type to green type.This paper studies the innovation ability of Chongqing manufacturing industry based on innovation drive.Chapter 2 describes the current situation and existing problems of manufacturing innovation in Chongqing,and compares R&D expenditure of manufacturing industry in Chongqing and other regions.Chapter 3 empirically analyses the innovation status of various industries in Chongqing,and regression analysis of selected variables shows that there are multiple collinearities in the model.The regression analysis of the number of scientific and technological institutions and the first six principal components such as R&D personnel whose eigenvalues are significantly less than 0 is made by principal component analysis.The regression results are still not significant.Repeat the above operations,and get the significant regression equation including the first four principal components such as the number of scientific and technological institutions,and get the conclusion that the number of R&D projects has the most significant impact on the number of new product development projects of enterprises.Chapter IV empirically compares the current situation of manufacturing innovation in Chongqing and other regions.The selected variables are analyzed by factor analysis based on maximum likelihood method to obtain scatter plots including the first public factor(focusing on total profits and R&D items)and the second public factor(focusing on the number of effective invention patents).At the same time,the variables are clustered dynamically to get Chongqing and its products.The classification of manufacturing innovation status in other regions divides all regions into three categories,of which Chongqing is located in the manufacturing development area.Chapter 5 carries out empirical research on the innovation capability of manufacturing industry in Chongqing.Regression analysis is made on the selected variables to get the regression results of multiple collinearity.Stepwise regression is used to eliminate the multiple collinearity of the model.Then the model is tested in sequence,and the number of effective invention patents and R&D institutions,internal expenditure of R&D funds and new product opening are obtained.The regression equation of expenditure and patent application number is validated by data.At the same time,R-ridge regression and lasso regression are used to re-analyze the selected variables,and a conclusion similar to that of stepwise regression is obtained.Among the stepwise regression results of eviews,because of the influence of expenditure of technological transformation on the number of effective invention patents,Enterprises run R&D machines.The three explanatory variables of composition,R&D expenditure and patent application number have the smallest impact on the number of effective invention patents of enterprises,so we can neglect the influence of explanatory variables on the number of effective invention patents of enterprises.Using two different software analysis methods,we can get the same significant variables,and we can think of using stepwise regression to eliminate the change.The regression equation of quantities has been proved to be accurate.Chapter 6 gives a conclusion,suggestions and improvement measures combined with the previous chapters.
