D company was founded in 1993,and it has been specializing in security since 2001.It is currently a leading supplier of surveillance products.It sets up a good R & D team in the ten years of continuous reform and development.With the continuous improvement of people's awareness of security,the field of security has gradually gained people's attention.The number of users in the industry is constantly increasing,and the requirements of customers for new product development are also on the rise.D company's organizational structure and new product development process gradually exposed many problems in the fierce competition in the market environment.In order to win customers,developing new products that meet the market demand,reducing the development cycle and cost of new products,optimizing D's new product development process is an urgent problem to be solved.New product development can be summarized as the development of new products and the improvement of old products.The development of new products is of crucial importance to the enterprise and it is the key factor for the survival and development of the enterprise.Whether there is a perfect new product development process will directly affect the development of new products,therefore,continuous improvement of new product development process for D company sustainable development of great significance.This article first gives an overview of the basic situation of Company D,then describes the organizational structure implemented by Company D and the operation of the organization in the project development process,and analyzes the current product development process implemented by Company D.Taking project A as an example,identify problems by using ASME tables to identify value-added and non-value added activities in the new product development process and calculate the cost of each milestone in Company A's project development using the activity-based costing method to provide data for subsequent improvement.By using ESIA method to analyze the improvement point of D company's process,we designed the improvement plan of the company.New process improvement programs include organizational restructuring,cross-functional development team building and new product development process design.After the new process plan was put forward,the new product development process was evaluated through the integrated use of ASME forms and operating-step costing,and an optimized plan that met the needs of social development and was feasible was formulated.By comparing the new product development process before and after optimization,the company achieved its target of shortening the development cycle of new products and reducing the development cost,thus realizing the expectation of process improvement.The improved new product development process can help companies gain competitive advantage in the fierce competitive market through efficient operation,and it is conducive to sustainable and healthy development of enterprises,the research methods apply to many similar small and medium private enterprises in this article,through process optimization,Change the old mode of operation of the enterprise,thus gaining a foothold in the fierce competitive market.
