Research On The Interactive Impact Of New Urbanization,Inclusive And Sustainable Industrial Development And Economic Development

Urbanization and industrialization are considered to be the two major driving forces of economic development.In the past 40 years since the implementation of reform and opening up,China's economy has gradually shifted to high-quality development after rapid development.In 2018,the total amount of China's economy has exceeded 90 trillion yuan,the economic growth rate is in the forefront of the world,the urbanization rate of the population has reached 59.58%,and the added value of the secondary industry and the tertiary industry accounted for 40.7%and 52.2%of the GDP respectively.While making these achievements,we must realize that in the process of urbanization and industrialization in the past,more attention was paid to the expansion of scale while neglecting the improvement of quality.Macro-economy is more and more closely related to urbanization and industrialization,but at the same time,we are also facing challenges.Although residents' income has been increasing and the consumption environment has been improved in recent years,the problems facing development have become increasingly prominent.The gap between the rich and the poor is still large,the quality of the environment still needs to be improved,and the regional development is still unbalanced.In 2013,the central government made a strategic plan for a new type of urbanization with people as the core,followed by the formulation of the "National New Urbanization Plan(2014-2020)," and the development of the new type of urbanization has been steadily promoted.In the same year,the Lima Declaration,adopted by the States members of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization,integrated the concept of inclusive growth into industrial development,laying the foundation for a vision of inclusive and sustainable industrial development,and formally put forward the concept of inclusive and sustainable industrialization in the United Nations Industrial Development Report 2016,aimed at achieving long-term,socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable industrial development.The new urbanization and inclusive and sustainable industrialization are in line with the development concept of our country at the present stage.In the future,the level of urbanization and industrialization is still closely related to China's economic growth.To promote industrialization and urbanization to continue to develop in depth,we should not only pay attention to the increase of "quantity",but also pursue the promotion of "quality".Strive to achieve the inclusiveness and sustainability of industrial development,adhere to the new road of urbanization,and form a benign interaction with economic development are of great significance for China to change the mode of economic development and promote structural transformation and upgrading in the new era.On the basis of the existing research,combined with Northam "S" curve,Lewis-Fei-Ranis model,Chenery development model and inclusive growth theory,this paper analyzes the interaction mechanism of new urbanization,inclusive and sustainable industrialization and economic development.In the empirical analysis,it is mainly divided into the following aspects:First,the new urbanization development level index system is constructed from five aspects including population situation,residents' life,urban and rural coordination,social development and ecological environment.The improved entropy method is used to calculate the new urbanization level of 30 provinces(cities and autonomous regions except Tibet)from 2003 to 2016.Secondly,the level of inclusive and sustainable industrialization in 30 provinces is measured according to the methodology proposed by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.Third,according to the above measurement results,the coupling degree model is used to calculate the coordinated development level of new urbanization,inclusive and sustainable industrialization.Fourth,through the construction of panel vector autoregression(PVAR)model,this paper empirically analyzes the interaction between new urbanization,inclusive and sustainable industrialization and economic development.Through theoretical research and empirical test,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)The overall development level of new urbanization in each province is gradually improved,but the weight of development is different at different levels in the comprehensive index system is different and accompanied by the regional imbalance of the level of comprehensive development.(2)Inclusive industrialization shows a fluctuating and declining trend of development,while sustainable industrialization is rising steadily,and inclusive and sustainable industrialization in most parts of the country is mainly driven by sustainable industrialization,the average development level of inclusive and sustainable industrialization in China is rising slowly as the "S" curve,and the level and speed of development in the eastern developed areas are in the leading position in the country.(3)The coordinated development of new urbanization and inclusive and sustainable industrialization is getting better year by year.(4)There is a long-term equilibrium relationship among new urbanization,inclusive and sustainable industrialization and economic development.The impulse response function shows that the positive impact of new urbanization and inclusive and sustainable industrialization has an increasing and sustained positive effect on economic development,and the development trend tends to be the same.This is consistent with the coordinated development of new urbanization and inclusive and sustainable industrialization.Inclusive and sustainable industrialization shows an increasing positive response to the positive impact of new urbanization and economic development.Economic development and inclusive and sustainable industrialization will promote new urbanization in the short term,which is uncertain in the long run.Therefore,to promote the new type of urbanization,we should not only strengthen industrial production and economic progress,but also pay more attention to "people-oriented" urbanization.
