With the continuous adjustment of urban space and industrial layout accele-ration,more and more metropolitan area and other modern urban communities are founded to seek a regional development position.At the same time,the division of the city and the coordinate of the city are become more and more important in the city development.This article uses the comparison analytic method,based on China's southern coast "Chaozhou-shantou-jieyang" cities and"Xiamen-zhangzhou-quanzhou" cities in all aspects to find out the difference between the two regions.From the result of comparative analysis,we seek the driving force of "Xiamen-zhangzhou-quanzhou" cities urban development,and then provide new perspectives for the economic integration of "Chaozhou-shan tou-jieyang" cities.This paper consists of five parts:Part ?,combing the research on regional economic integration and industrial cluster at home and abroad.Part ?,analyzes the concept of city integration and metropolitan circle.And foreign theories on regional economy are summarized to provide theoretical support for the analysis of this paper.Part ?,establishes comparative analysis based on the "Five-realationship theory".Through the comparison of collected data,it is found that "Chaozhou-shantou-jieyang" cities and "Xiamen-zhangzhou-quanzhou" cities are very similar in terms of region,blood relationship,culture,business and politics.Part ?,by analyzing the driving modes of the development of the two cities,it is concluded that the driving modes are different.Part ?,according to the analysis results,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to give full play to the "inner edge" driving force and promote the development of "Chaozhou-shantou-jieyang" city urbanization.
