In recent years,the food safety problems in China's small and medium-sized catering industry are still severe.Negative news such as the deterioration of food raw materials has been reported frequently.As a result,the public lacks enough cognition in the food safety of small and medium-sized catering.In March 2019,when Premier Li Keqiang made a"Government Work Report" at the two sessions,he mentioned the food safety issue three times and caused wide concern throughout the country.This paper selects this representative city of Yueqing as the research object and attempts to analyze the existing problems of small and medium-sized catering industry in Yueqing City by looking into the current situation,combined with the supervision situation of the local catering authority Yueqing Market Supervision Bureau.Then,the paper probes into how to improve the current supervision,explore the supervision countermeasure,provide some new ideas and help for the supervision departments on how to do a good job in small and medium-sized catering supervision,thus solving the food safety difficulties of small?medium and tiny sized catering industry,and protecting the food safety of the people.This article is divided into fiver chapters.The first chapter clarifies the background,purpose and significance of this research,analyzes the relevant research situation at home and abroad,and introduces the research contents,research methods and innovations.The second chapter expound the related concepts and theoretical basis of small?medium and tiny sized catering food safety supervision.The third chapter introduces the general situation of the small?medium and tiny sized catering industry in Yueqing City,then summarizes the existing problems and introduces the measure of food safety supervision in the industry.The forth chapter analyzes the essential reasons behind the aspects of regulated objects,laws and regulations by outlining the difficulties in the food safety supervision of small?medium and tiny sized catering,such as no comprehensive coverage of supervision?basic law enforcement forces are seriously inadequate,industry as quoted from expert seminars.Finally,in the last chapter,relying solely on the supervision of government departments is far from satisfying the food safety needs of the people.It is necessary to form a synergy,and to targeted supervise by contrasting to the characteristics and difficulties of the small and medium-sized catering industry,thus achieving the ultimate goal of food safety.Five supervision countermeasure applicable to the small?medium and tiny sized catering industry was made with Yueqing City as a templateon the basis of the above-mentioned reason analysis so as to lay a solid foundation for the supervision work,for example,clear the leading role of the government and the multi-sectoral joint mechanism,give full play to the main supervisory role of Yueqing City Market Supervision Administration,play the effect of the third party,strengthen the construction of supervision team and create a good social atmosphere..
