In recent years,China has attached great importance to the issue of lifting the poor out of poverty, and remarkable achievements have been made in this regard.China's overall economic situation and people's living standards have been significantly improved. However,we should also pay attention to the rising poverty rate behind the high poverty rate, reminding us that it is far from enough to consider poverty from the economic dimension alone, and the necessity of multi-dimensional poverty research is highlighted. All along, the government has been exploring effective means for poverty reduction, and has taken the development of inclusive finance as a powerful weapon to solve the problem of poverty.Based on the new ideas of financial reform, the government has issued a series of new policies for the development of inclusive finance to help form the positive interaction between inclusive finance and poverty alleviation. An in-depth study of multidimensional poverty reduction effect of inclusive finance in China,on the one hand, can provide a basis for testing and evaluating the effect of relevant policies of inclusive finance, and is conducive to further improving and deepening the development of inclusive finance. On the other hand,it can also expand the theory of inclusive finance to alleviate multi-dimensional poverty, and provide reference for further guiding inclusive finance to help alleviate poverty. To this end, this paper sets up an indicator system to measure the level of inclusive finance and indicators related to multidimensional poverty, and scientifically evaluates the multidimensional poverty reduction effect of inclusive finance,so as to better promote the role of inclusive finance in poverty reduction and help solve the problem of multidimensional poverty. This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly includes the background, significance, research ideas and methods of the thesis, briefly introduces the structure of the thesis, and draws the technical roadmap.Chapter two defines the concepts of inclusive finance and multidimensional poverty, and systematically sorts out the relevant research. The third chapter carries out theoretical analysis from the perspectives of the supply side and the demand side of inclusive finance. At the same time, combined with related poverty alleviation theories, the multidimensional poverty reduction mechanism of inclusive finance is sorted out.The fourth chapter analyzes the current situation of inclusive finance and multi-dimensional poverty in China. For the analysis of inclusive finance,it comprehensively analyzes the dimensional characteristics, business characteristics and regional differences of development of inclusive finance from the perspectives of the current situation of each dimension and the comprehensive index. The analysis of multidimensional poverty specifically analyzes the current poverty situation from three dimensions of income, education and medical treatment. The fifth chapter is based on the related data of 30 provinces in 2010-2018,through the preliminary analysis and panel data handling, and F test and Hausman test, determine the fixed effect model to empirical analysis model, and this paper analyze the pratt &whitney financial to poverty in income, education and medical poverty slow effect.Besides, the multi-dimensional poverty reduction effect of inclusive finance in the eastern, central and western regions of China is analyzed by regression and comparison. The empirical results show that :(1)Financial inclusion can significantly alleviate income poverty and medical poverty, but the effect of financial inclusion on education poverty is not significant;(2)There is a non-linear relationship among financial inclusion and income poverty and medical poverty alleviation, and the effect of poverty reduction is characterized by a "U" shape, which first weakens and then strengthens;(3)There are regional differences in the multi-dimensional poverty reduction effect of inclusive finance. The sixth chapter is the conclusion and policy Suggestions.Based on the theory and current situation analysis of this paper and the empirical analysis results, the policy suggestions are proposed to further promote the role of inclusive finance in poverty reduction.
