With the rapid development of economic globalization and informatization,mature international hotels have entered the Chinese market in a large scale,resulting in increasingly fierce competition in the hotel industry.Compared with international hotel groups,the gap between domestic hotel groups in hardware supporting facilities is getting smaller and smaller,but there is still a gap in management concepts,management methods and other aspects.In recent years,the competition among hotel enterprises has become fiercer and performance management as a critial,is a difficult problem for modem enterprise management.Performance evaluation is an important part of performance management.Therefore,how to build a set of scientific,reasonable,effective and feasible performance evaluation system is particularly important and urgent.This paper set the X hotel as the research object,with the adjustment of the enterprise strategic target and the change of market environment,the X hotel current performance evaluation system has a lot of problems,such as too much focus on financial indicators to ignore other aspects index,single performance appraisal methods,Performance evaluation and strategie target eohesion is undeserved,evaluation index and weight is not scientific and reasonable.Due to the existence of these problems,the current performance evaluation mechanism of X hotel cannot be applied to its current development needs.In order to give full play to the function of its performance evaluation mechanism,this paper analyzes the operating environment and strategy of X hotel,determines the strategic goal,and lets the strategy guide the improvement of the performance evaluation system,so as to improve the management efficiency of the enterprise and bring favorable influence on its long-term development.Based on the study of a large number of literatures,this paper studies and compares the performance evaluation methods.In combination with the management status of X hotel,the balanced scorecard is adopted to build a new performance evaluation system of X hotel.Firstly,the strategic objective of X hotel was decoraposed through the balanced scorecard,and performance assessment indicators were selected scientifically and reasonably.Secondly,entropy method is used to determine the weight of the four dimensions of the balanced scorecard and the weight of each dimension subdivision index.Finally,a complete and scientific performance evaluation system is established based on the balanced scorecard.Faced with the problems existing in X hotel,such as the severe lack of floating capital and low market share,the new system proposes corresponding countermeasures to solve the problems hindering the development of X hotel,and in the severe environment of the hotel industry,X hotel "regain its vitality".
