Research On Risk Management System Construction Of OTMC Based On COSO-ERM Framework

Today's economy and technology are changing the society in which we live at an alarming rate.The competition among enterprises has become increasingly fierce.Many industries are gradually moving from supply shortage to oversupply.Among them,manufacturing is the most outstanding,so many companies have begun to Choose strategic adjustments to respond to the fierce competitive environment.These companies expect to find new entry points to enter other industries while maintaining their original business profitability.More and more enterprises are beginning to make strategic goals and implement strategic plans.However,when formulating strategie goals and implementing strategies,it will inevitably bring some risks to enterprises,and these risks will hinder the development of enterprises.As a research object of this thesis,the OTMC has undergone a strategic transformation from the manufacturing industry to the cultural media industry.It has gradually begun to enter the cultural tourism industry and the medical health industry.It has implemented a series of strategic transformations but brought various kinds of risks.Meanwhile,COSO issued the latest ERM framework in 2017,which positions risk management to enhance the value and performance of the company,emphasizing the embedded risk management into the enterprise management business activities and core value chain,which can meet the higher demand level of the enterprise.This perspective is also a new perspective of risk management.Therefore,this thesis will use the new COSO-ERM framework as a theoretical basis to construct a risk management system for the OTMC.This thesis is divided into six parts,the main contents of each part are as follows.The first part is the introduction,which elaborates the research background,research significance,research status,research content and research methods of ERM framework.The second part is an overview of the relevant theories of risk management.It mainly introduces the related theories of risk,risk management,comprehensive risk management and the new and old ERM framework.The third part is the analysis of OTMC and its risk status.Firstly,the company profile is introduced.Secondly,the main risks faced by the OTMC are elaborated.The fourth part is the analysis of the OTMC's risk management issues.Based on the analysis of the risk status of the third part,the current risk management issues of the OTMC are analyzed in this part.The fifth part is based on the COSO-ERM framework to build a risk management system for the OTMC.It mainly based on the problems of Eastern network management analyzed in the fourth part,based on the 2017 version of the COSO-ERM framework to establish a risk management system for the OTMC,in order to achieve the role of risk prevention.The sixth part is the conclusion and outlook.Firstly,it summarizes the risk management system of the constructed OTMC,and explains the reference significance of risk management in enterprises similar to the Eastern Network.Then,it summarizes the shortcomings of the full thesis.This thesis aims to help the OTMC to reduce existing risks and prevent new strategic planning by bringing analysis of the current risk and risk management issues and then building a risk management system based on the COSO-ERM framework.The risk of the ultimate realization of the OTMC strategy to improve the company's original profitability.At the same time,this thesis also hopes to provide risk management reference for enterprises that are undergoing strategic transformation and enterprises that are planning to implement strategic transformation in the future.
