The development of economic globalization,boost the development of market economy,the company’s internal and external environment and an accompanying change.The competition from their own internal competition,evolved into internal value chain of each link of the competition between companies,but also produce the external value chain between the upstream and downstream related industries and industry competition.Cost management as one of the important ways to realize the value of the company,need as the change of market environment,makes the corresponding innovation policy,the theory of value chain are proposed for cost management of new change path.Its management method is pointed out the development direction of the company’s cost management,through the value chain cost management can effectively reduce the company cost,make each link on the value chain to maximize the value of appreciation and has important significance for the promotion of the competitiveness of the company.The baking industry is gradually opening up the consumer market in China,and the rich variety of its products meet the needs of consumers of each age group.Therefore,this paper will take YZ company in the baking industry as an example and conduct a cost management study based on the value chain.Based on the analysis of the current situation of YZ company’s cost management,this paper finds out the specific problems of YZ company,and puts forward the feasibility and necessity of management implementation in the aspects of procurement,r&d,storage and sales,as well as cost management for suppliers and consumers.Analyze the internal and external value chain structure of YZ company;Finally,based on the research and analysis,it proposes the internal and external cost management scheme of value chain.Internally,the cost structure of YZ company’s products is optimized from the aspects of r&d,procurement,storage and sales,while externally,the cost structure of YZ company’s products is optimized from the aspects of suppliers,consumers and competitors,so as to improve its comprehensive competitiveness and maximize the market value of YZ company.At the same time also hope that through the analysis of YZ company,can give the baking industry the development of the company to provide valuable reference for same type.
