Science And Technology Incubator Study:Value Chain Innovation And Its Performance Impact

As an important tool to accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements,incubate technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises,gather emerging industries and lead regional innovation and development,science and technology incubator has been developing rapidly with the strong support of the government.On the whole,science and technology incubators in China are developing towards marketization,specialization,refinement and economic benefit.However,the low profitability of the incubator seriously affects its sustainable development.At first,the problem is owing to the rapid development of the incubator industry as a whole,and the second is owing to the incubator's weak innovation ability in operating mode.In order to solve the problem of sustainable development caused by insufficient profits in the process of the development,this paper focuses on the analysis of the relationship between innovation behavior of value chain and performance impact of science and technology incubators.Based on porter's value chain theory,this paper raises that the value chain composition of science and technology incubators consists of three parts: value proposition,value creation process and value realization.Then,This paper discusses the significance of value chain innovation combined with the incubator problems on the above three aspects.Combined with the value chain theory and the actual operation of the incubator,the paper analyzes the value creation process of the science and technology incubator,and puts forward that the innovation behavior of the value chain of the science and technology incubator mainly functions in three parts: incubation activity innovation,internal operation innovation and collaborative relationship innovation.Finally,this paper discusses the relationship of value chain innovation behavior on the performance impact of science and technology incubators on three aspects: economic feedback effect,scale accumulation effect and brand diffusion effect,and makes an empirical analysis of the relationship based on the questionnaire data and the regression analysis method.The study found that on the constituents of the value chain of science and technology incubator,the clear value proposition of the incubator point to the some development direction;the purpose of value creation process is to form a system based on resource,organization,institution,the core is to form the value creation process of interest relations coordination;dual attribute of the value of the incubator makes the source of income multiple.On the value chain innovation behavior of science and technology incubator,incubation activity innovation is to form a common entrepreneurial process which consists of project quality,effective resource matching,value sharing;internal business innovation lies in the formation of the organization of dynamic learning ability and efficient operation system;collaboration innovation lies in the formation of the stable network of complementary relationship on function to strengthen the ability of value creation.As a whole,the three parts work together and are inseparable.From the empirical results of value chain innovation behavior and performance impacts of science and technology incubators,collaboration performance have positive significant impact on government subsidies,value-added services revenue and hatching enterprise survival rate,internal operational performance has positive significant impact on government subsidies.This shows that the incubator should pay attention to the construction of incubation network,and pay attention to the benefit of incubation activities and the construction of internal operation.
