An Empirical Analysis Of Research Investments' Agricultural Total Factor Productivity Growth In Henan Province

In the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the realization of the goal of agricultural rural modernization was determined in 2035.The foundation of China's modernization is rural modernization.The development of China's modernization level mainly depends on the speed of rural modernization.In the process of transition from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture,the challenges facing Henan Province come from both traditional and non-traditional aspects,which will have many constraints on the development of agriculture.In order to effectively improve agricultural scientific and technological innovation,it is necessary to optimize the allocation of rural resources,and to accelerate the allocation of resources in rural areas,and to improve the efficiency of the elements.The important goal of rural economic development is to realize the modernization of agriculture and accelerate the pace of rural economic transformation.Henan Province is a large agricultural province in China.The agricultural development situation in Henan Province is closely related to the agricultural economy of our country,which will have an impact on the development of our national economy.China is in a critical period of agricultural transformation.The problems in agriculture in Henan Province will have a corresponding impact on the development of agriculture in China.In order to realize the development of agricultural economy,it is necessary to speed up the development of agricultural science and technology and further improve the productivity of agriculture.Agricultural science and technology can make progress,and its foundation and guarantee are the input of agricultural scientific research.Therefore,through the research on the growth of agricultural total factor productivity of agricultural scientific research investment in Henan Province,this paper seeks to improve the efficiency of agricultural scientific research investment in Henan Province and optimize the investment allocation of agricultural scientific research.The research contents of this paper mainly include the following three aspects:(1)from the angle of absolute quantity and relative quantity,the scale of agricultural investment in Henan Province,the structure of scientific research investment and the differences between regions are studied.From the research results,the total amount of agricultural scientific research investment in Henan Province is gradually increasing,the funds mainly come from the financial allocation,and 68%of the agricultural scientific research funds flow to the experimental and development projects with strong income ability.(2)Analysis of the change of agricultural total factor productivity growth in Henan Province and its relationship with agricultural scientific research investment.Based on the analysis of agricultural total factor productivity in Henan province,the DEA-Malmquist productivity index is used to find out the change trend of its composition index.According to the agricultural total factor productivity data from 2005 to 2007,the main reason of agricultural growth in Henan Province is the remarkable mention of technology and the analysis of input factor allocation in Henan Province.Lack of effectiveness of factor allocation,extensive growth is still the main way of economic growth in Henan Province,the scientific and technological innovation and technological progress of agriculture in Henan Province need to be strengthened and paid more attention to,accelerate the transformation of agricultural growth mode to intensive growth and increase the total factor productivity of agriculture.Through the error correction model of agricultural research investment and agricultural total factor productivity index in Henan Province,and using Granger's causality test method,it is concluded that there is a close relationship between agricultural research investment and agricultural total factor productivity in Henan Province,and there is a balanced relationship between them in the long run.(3)By analysing the factors affecting the growth of agricultural total factor productivity(TFP)invested in agricultural scientific research,the TFP of agriculture is affected by and is a positive contribution to agricultural infrastructure,so that rural infrastructure is continuously improved and good production conditions are provided for agricultural production;the development of urbanization significantly promotes the improvement of TFP of agriculture,and measures need to be taken to gap between urban and rural areas and achieve harmonious development between urban and rural areas.Higher agricultural opportunity costs are to a large extent conducive to the adoption of agricultural technology by farmers,who should be trained in skills,along with other measures such as technical risk compensation and agricultural insurance subsidies.Finally,according to the actual situation of agricultural scientific research investment in Henan Province,aiming at the problems in the research,in order to improve the total factor productivity of agriculture in Henan Province,some suggestions and methods are put forward to improve the investment in agricultural scientific research,and the relationship between the two is sought,and the research deficiencies and research prospects are pointed out.
