Study On The Difference Of The Influence Of Transportation Infrastructure Investment On Regional Economic Growth

On the basis of literature review,this paper analyzes the economic growth effect of traffic infrastructure investment in the five northwest provinces,and then selects three indexes of traffic infrastructure operating mileage,passenger volume and freight volume between the11 th Five-Year Plan and the 13 th Five-Year Plan in the five northwest provinces,and describes the current situation of traffic infrastructure development by combining qualitative and quantitative methods(this paper takes highway,railway and air traffic infrastructure as the research object).Based on the data of the five provinces of Northwest China from1978 to 2017,the paper concludes that the influence coefficient of transportation infrastructure investment on economic growth in the five provinces of Northwest China is obtained by regression analysis.In addition,in order to further compare and analyze the difference of transportation infrastructure investment on economic growth in each province,the elastic coefficient of economic growth on transportation infrastructure investment in each province is regressed,and the empirical results are compared and analyzed.But but The inhibition was not obvious.For the four other provinces that are relatively backward,investment in transport infrastructure has a significant effect on economic growth.Second,the economic growth of the five provinces and regionsof Northwest China is the result of the combined influence of many factors.Relying solely on the input of transportation infrastructure can not maximize economic growth,but should also take into account the regional industrial structure,labor force level,trade level and government consumption and many other factors.Third,overall,government consumption expenditure has a significant role in promoting economic growth in the five northwest provinces,and government investment in transportation infrastructure will have a long-term positive effect on improving economic growth in the five northwest provinces.Fourth,Northwest There is still a big gap in the level of development of transportation infrastructure between the five provinces,and the role of transportation infrastructure investment in economic growth is also a big gap between the five provinces.Finally,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the empirical conclusions.
