In today's complex and volatile market conditions implying the rapid development of economy and the rapid replacement of enterprises,modern enterprises intend to be invincible in the current environment.They should pay more attention to the long-term and healthy development of enterprises instead of simply pursuing production efficiency.Therefore,as a new leadership,transformational leadership has great achievements.Since the emergence of the definition of transformational leadership,there has been many researches around this variable.However most previous studies concentrated on the impact of leadership style on performance and management results.And few studies focused on other antecedents of leadership style(such as family socio-economic status)besides personality characteristics.Nowadays,family socio-economic status has gradually become a powerful force in daily life.Although the study of organizational leaders has a long history,little is known about how the leaders'family socio-economic statuses and their experiences affect their leadership styles.This study explores the influence of leaders'social classes on their leadership styles,also considers the adjustment of leaders' subjective social and economic statuses.The results show that leaders' family socio-economic statuses have an impact on individual psychological capital and their transformational leadership styles.In view of the above research status,this study reviews the relevant literature,puts forward five research hypotheses.Researcher selects the leaders of different management and their corresponding team members(256 leaders and 1024 employees in total)of 256 teams in multiple companies as the research objects to make an in-depth discussion on the relationship between leaders'socio-economic statuses and their leadership styles,and explore the mechanism of leaders' psychological capital and their subjective socio-economic statuses.This research adopts the methods of literature research and empirical analysis,using research tools such as Mplus 7.0 and SPSS 22.0 to analyze.The following conclusions are drawn.First,the socio-economic statuses of leaders'family background have a positive impact on their transformational leadership behaviors.Second,the psychological capital of leadership plays an intermediary role in this relationship.Third,the subjective socio-economic status of leaders plays a moderating role in the relationship between the socio-economic status of leaders' family(the education level and professional level of leaders' parents as a comprehensive indicator)and leadership psychological capital.The results show that there are different regulatory effects in different genders.Compared with male leadership,female leadership has a significant negative regulatory effect.Fourth,the subjective socio-economic status of leaders plays a moderating role in the relationship between the current socio-economic status of leaders(measured by their education level)and their psychological capital.The results show that there are different regulatory effects in different genders.Compared with female leadership,male leadership has a significant negative regulatory effect.On the one hand,this study of enriches the research of family socio-economic status,leadership psychological capital and transformational leadership behavior and makes certain contributions to expand the research fields of psychology and sociology.On the other hand,it also puts forward some opinions and suggestions for different enterprises and individuals with different socio-economic statuses.
