Agriculture is the foundation of the country, and the rise and fall of agriculture is related to the stability of the country's economy and society.Facing the new situation,China put forward the rural revitalization strategy in the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, raising the "three rural issues" to a new height. With the deepening of agricultural and rural reform, the development of the agricultural industry has shown new vigor and vitality. These leading enterprises have become a new force for the revitalization of rural industry,an important carrier for the effective connection between farmers and modern agriculture, and an important force for the realization of rural revitalization. But what is the current development status and trend of leading enterprises? What is the distribution pattern of the number of leading enterprises in geographic space? What evolutionary processes have taken place? What factors affect the spatial distribution of leading enterprises? Scientific answers to the above questions have important theoretical significance for understanding the spatial distribution characteristics and internal logic of the evolution of leading enterprises, and can make more clear the future development direction of leading enterprises. In addition, through the establishment of the measurement model to discuss the influential factors of the location distribution of leading enterprises, the development trend and direction of leading enterprises have a clearer understanding.Based on the data of eight batches of national leading enterprises published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, this paper combines various index data of China statistical yearbook, statistical yearbook of various provinces and China economic statistics database.Geographic concentration index, regional GINI coefficient, kernel density estimation method, deviation coefficient estimation method, spatial auto-correlation method and regression model were used for empirical analysis. This paper systematically studies the characteristics and influencing factors of the location distribution of China's national leading enterprises. The results show that:(1)The number of leading enterprises in China shows the trend of increasing first and then decreasing, the number of leading enterprises in the first batch to the sixth batch is increasing constantly, and the number of leading enterprises in theeighth batch from the sixth batch is decreasing to a small extent.Among the four economic regions, the number of leading enterprises in the eastern region is the largest, and the number of leading enterprises in the northeast region is the least. The growth rate of the number of leading enterprises in the western region is the fastest while the number of leading enterprises in the eastern region is the slowest. The geographical concentration index and regional GINI coefficient are used to calculate the distribution of leading enterprises in provincial space in China. At the level of prefecture-level cities in provincial administrative regions, the number of leading enterprises in provincial capitals in western regions occupies a higher share in the whole province, while the distribution of leading enterprises in cities in eastern regions is generally more even.(2)On the distribution characteristics of the spatial pattern of leading enterprises, the distribution of leading enterprises as a whole presents the trend of "clustering of enterprises in local areas while dispersive of enterprises in most areas".With the increase of the number of leading enterprises, the clustering scope of leading enterprises is also wider. The agglomeration area is mainly concentrated in beijing-tianjin-hebei,Yangtze river delta and pearl river delta city clusters, followed by gradually leading enterprise clusters in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river and chengdu-chongqing city clusters. The concentration degree of leading enterprises in the provinces is obviously different. However, the leading enterprises in hebei and gansu province showed an even distribution. The concentration degree of leading enterprises in western provinces is generally higher, and almost all of them gather in provincial capitals. The concentration coefficient in eastern provinces is lower, and the concentration center is also scattered, with two or three concentration centers. The overall agglomeration degree of leading enterprises in the four regions and provinces is: western region > northeast region > central region > eastern region. The global spatial auto-correlation analysis shows that the distribution of leading enterprises has positive spatial correlation, but the degree of correlation is small. The hot spot area that bibck enterprise distributes basically is in Yangtze river delta area, cold spot area is located in northwest qinghai, xizang, whole heat area by southeast coastal area to northwest area gradually abate.(3)Using the principal component analysis method, this paper analyzes the influencing factors of the location distribution of leading enterprises, takes the number of leading enterprises in each province as the explanatory variable, and discusses theinfluence of resource endowment, economic capital, traffic network, labor force and globalization on the location distribution of leading enterprises.Regression model results show that the above factors have a positive effect on the number of leading enterprises, among which the market size and labor force have the largest effect and the traffic conditions have the smallest effect. Finally, this paper proposes countermeasures and Suggestions from four aspects: top-level policy design, cultivation of specialized talents, improvement of the degree of openness, expansion of market scale, and prominent characteristic development.
