A Study On The Transformation Mechanism Of Informal Entrepreneurship In Poverty-stricken Areas

Informal entrepreneurship refers to the entrepreneurial activities implemented in the informal economy.Informal entrepreneurship has become a hot topic for more and more people because of its important significance in promoting economic development,employment,poverty alleviation and so on,and has been widely concerned by the academic community.However,at present,the research on informal entrepreneurship,especially in poverty-stricken areas,is still scattered,and mainly focuses on such topics as the generation of informal entrepreneurship,the identification and development of opportunities for informal entrepreneurship,and the acquisition and utilization of informal entrepreneurship resources.Few people are involved in the transformation of informal entrepreneurship,and a complete and unified theoretical system has not yet been formed,which leads to the academic community’s concern about informal entrepreneurship Especially in poverty-stricken areas,the motivation of informal entrepreneurship transformation is lack of in-depth understanding,and it is also difficult to guide the timely transformation of informal entrepreneurs.Firstly,this study combs the relevant theories of informal entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship in poverty-stricken areas,finds the deficiencies and theoretical gaps in the existing research from the relevant literature,and puts forward research questions accordingly.The relevant key issues are designed strictly in accordance with the requirements of case analysis and grounded theoretical research methods.The second is to determine the research samples and collect the data;then through the steps of open coding,spindle coding and selective coding,according to the collected original data,we conduct a grounded analysis,and finally test the theoretical saturation of the theory.This paper explores the key dimensions of the transformation of informal entrepreneurship in poverty-stricken areas in China,analyzes the path,mechanism and function relationship of the transformation of informal entrepreneurship in different dimensions,and then constructs a theoretical framework based on the transformation of informal entrepreneurship in poverty-stricken areas.In view of the current situation of informal Entrepreneurship Transformation in poverty-stricken areas in China,this paper puts forward the conclusions of this study and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from the government level and the entrepreneur level,in order to provide policy suggestionsand guidance for the timely transformation of informal entrepreneurship in poverty-stricken areas.This paper takes 12 informal entrepreneurs in poverty-stricken areas as research samples,constructs a general model of informal entrepreneurial transformation in poverty-stricken areas through multi case qualitative research,and explores the practical path of informal entrepreneurial transformation in poverty-stricken areas in the dimensions of entrepreneurial context,personal characteristics and institutional pressure.First of all,personal characteristics are the logical starting point and action guidance of the transformation of informal entrepreneurship,which lays a theoretical foundation for the transformation of informal entrepreneurship.Second,the resource situation and institutional situation play a negative role in regulating the transformation of entrepreneurs’ personal characteristics to informal entrepreneurship,while the social situation has a negative role in the transformation of entrepreneurs’ personal characteristics to informal entrepreneurship Finally,institutional pressure has a positive regulatory effect on the transformation of informal entrepreneurship.In a word,this study provides a possible path for the follow-up research on the formal transformation of informal entrepreneurship from the academic perspective.In terms of research methods,it is different from the previous empirical analysis based on questionnaire survey to better fit the reality of questionnaire survey sensitivity of informal entrepreneurs,and further expands the research methods of informal entrepreneurship.To sum up,this study has some innovative significance in the research topics,research methods and other aspects to enrich the research results of informal entrepreneurship in China.
