With the rapid improvement of people’s living and consumption level,the domestic hotel industry has achieved unprecedented development.Through cooperation and competition with domestic and foreign hotels,it is now gradually developed into a large-scale,high-quality,deep-seated international hotel.In recent years,the state has promulgated policies to limit "three public" consumption and "eight regulations",making the hotel market gradually face the situation of structural differentiation.In order to get rid of the industry predicament,major enterprises carry out merger and acquisition,and improve economic efficiency.To improve the performance of Hotel M & A,we must face the evaluation of the performance after M & A and the improvement of the related problems.In this regard,it is an urgent problem for the hotel industry to apply which method to evaluate the performance after M & A and how to improve the performance problems after M & A.In this regard,this paper selects the most representative BTG M & A in the hotel industry as a case study to evaluate the performance of its M & A.The article is divided into five parts:firstly,the research background,purpose and significance of the article are briefly summarized,and then the literature about M & A and its motivation,M & A performance and balanced scorecard of scholars at home and abroad in recent years is combed,and its summary and evaluation are carried out.Then,based on the introduction of M & A performance evaluation,this paper focuses on the introduction of the balanced scorecard,and compares the traditional M & A performance evaluation method with the balanced scorecard,pointing out the specific advantages of using the Balanced Scorecard to evaluate enterprise M& A,which lays a theoretical foundation for the next performance evaluation.Then,taking the BTG and Home Inn as the research object,through the introduction of the two sides,the paper analyzes the motivation and process of M & A.At the same time,it decomposes the current strategic development goals of the group,draws the strategic map of the group,and then selects the four dimensions of performance evaluation index system according to the strategic map.Next,combined with the actual situation of the BTG group and the annual report of the company,it analyzes and evaluates the financial dimension,customer dimension,internal process dimension,learning and growth dimension of the company,and points out theshortcomings of each dimension according to the evaluation results.Finally,based on the analysis of the problems after the performance evaluation of the BTG group,the paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the performance of each dimension.This paper attempts to provide a certain reference value and useful reference for the merger and acquisition of the hotel industry,so as to enhance the overall competitiveness of the domestic hotel industry.
